在班級的最後一排，米亞一直都不是那種會被第一眼記住的人。

她成績普通，個性安靜，不特別突出，也不特別討喜。大多數時候，她只是剛好在場——參與課堂、參與活動，但很少真正被納入討論的中心。

直到一次班級成果發表，她被分配到一個不會站上舞台的位置：背景佈置。

沒有掌聲，也沒有關注，這件事看起來不會改變任何人的生活。

但對米亞來說，那卻是第一次，她開始以一種不太確定的方式，參與「被看見」這件事。

只是事情並沒有如想像中順利。

作品完成得不完美，甚至在某些人眼中顯得混亂、失誤、難以理解。評價出現得很快，而肯定來得很慢，甚至不一定存在。

她開始發現，被交付的機會不一定等於被理解的開始；努力也不總是會被正確解讀。

在這段過程裡，她沒有突然變得耀眼，也沒有被誰改變。她只是一步一步，在誤解、失敗與短暫的無所謂之間，慢慢重新認識自己與「存在」這件事的距離。

《她也會發光》描寫的並不是一段逆轉人生的故事，而是一個仍然停留在原地的人，如何在沒有被立即肯定的情況下，繼續完成一件屬於自己的事情。

有些光，不是被看見之後才成立。
而是在還沒被理解之前，就已經存在。
