From my perspective — Xiao Qian

I stand at the entrance of the work area, waiting with additional tools. Ji Wuji is examining the old navigation device, while Qing Geng stands beside him with the historical records.

 

Ji Wuji points to a part of the casing: “This section was modified incorrectly.”

Qing Geng checks the book: “According to the notes, the original structure was different.”

 

She describes the design, and Ji Wuji nods, already knowing what to do. He works carefully, while she occasionally confirms details from the records. There is no rush, just cooperation.

 

When the device lights up, both look at it quietly. Ji Wuji wipes his hands: “Now it can be used again.”

Qing Geng says softly: “And its history is preserved.”

 

I can see that one brings the skill, the other brings the knowledge. Together they restore not just a machine, but its meaning.

我站在工作区入口，等候并准备补充工具。纪无暨正在检查那台旧导航仪，青梗则捧着典籍站在一旁。

 

纪无暨指着外壳一处：“这里的结构被改动过，不符合原始设计。”

青梗翻看记录：“根据记载，最初的构造是这样的。”

 

她说明原本的设计，纪无暨点头，已经清楚该如何处理。他小心操作，她偶尔从典籍里确认细节。过程不急不躁，配合得很自然。

 

当装置亮起稳定的光，两人都安静看着。纪无暨擦去手上的痕迹：“现在可以正常运作了。”

青梗轻声说：“它的历史也得以保留。”

 

能看得出来，一个带来技术，一个带来记载。他们一起修复的不只是一台设备，还有它背后的意义。
