"Now that's more like it." She sighed relieved as she turned off the computer and took off the webcam. The annoying questions of tonight's interview with a forced smile does cost her some more energy than usual with her tutorial video about fashion in history from various cultures in Europe. She opened her bun and shook her long blonde hair wildly, few fine strands of braids became visible. "Energy wasted for a mask that is not me." She muttered as she changed from a colourful flower printed dress into long dark leathered trousers, simple gray cotton t-shirt, few special charms round her neck and wrist in silver, gold and bronze. A long dark wool cape with a large hood and lastly her short and broad bladed sword in shieth with belt and a bottle of holy water to go along her comfortable atire. Soon headed out the window and with ease climbed up the wall to the roof. For a long moment she enjoyed the soft cool night breeze while overlooking a part of the city and its roofs. The night is her world and time to be alive compared to others.
Suddenly she heared a voice in distress in the distance. Immediately she sprinted to the direction she heard it, leaping from roof to roof silently and elegantly as if it were a dance rather than sprinting. Soon she halted at one edge of a roof and looked below. "Now what do we have here?" She whispered to herself excited and crouched. She noticed immediately that the two young men were brothers in blood besides vampires. They surrounded a woman and held her up against the wall. "Now who shall go first, you or me?" Wondered one to the other with an evil smirk.
"Age before beauty, brother." Smiled the other and its sharp over-sized canines were visible on the upper and lower yaw like a cat's. Their sapphire blue eyes flickered with excitement of the victim they caught and one began to look at her. Capturing her into a trance.
Quickly the woman leapted down and covered the victim with her cape. Leaped away from the two vampires in a great speed the human eye can barely acknowledge.
"Oh, such heroism from a young pretty lady like you." Sniggered the other. "The more, the merrier."
"I couldn't agree more, brother. You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into." He walked up to her and stroked with two fingers tenderly along her yawline while looking into her eyes with a smirk. "You carry an interesting scent. I presume this is not your first time to be around of our kind?"
She began to smirk. The vampire blinked for a moment wide-eyed of surprise. "You two really aren't the sharpest tool in the shed." Rapidly she grabbed the vampire at its hair and sunk her over-sized canines into the cold pale flesh by the neck. "A vampire should always remain cautious. Not only to the living but their own kind." She spitted out black blood from her mouth and wiped away the rest with the back of her hand.
The other vampire gritted his teeth as he soon collected what happened and clenched his hands into fists. "If you are a vampire, why do you give off a scent of the living?" He shouted in wild rage.
