Morning 07:00 AM,

Morning sunlight slipped quietly through the curtains, brushing the room in a soft, golden calm, slowly tracing the curve of her jaw, kissing her cheeks - brushing her eyelids....... tracing her curves....

Slowly summoning her back into the world..

The morning started like every other..

Quiet, Predictable,Untouched. Just the way she preferred it.

Her mornings were always the same.

Quiet,Precise,Empty...

By the time she reached the office, everything was already waiting for her.

At office:

"Did you see the mail she sent last night?”

“At 2:17 a.m.? "

"Yeah".

" Who even works at that hour?”

“She doesn’t work. She… operates.”

“That’s not normal.”

“Neither is she.”

(pause)

“I heard she fired someone last week.”

“Not fired. Just… asked them to leave. Calmly.”

“That’s worse.”

(footsteps outside)

“Wait—”

“She’s here."

"Already?”

“Fix your posture.”

“Why are you whispering?”

“Because she doesn’t like noise.”

(silence)

Conversations died instantly.

And just like that… she became someone no one dared to know...

Jennie pov:

Her heels clicked against the marble floor, sharp and precise, echoing the kind of control she never had to announce.

She reached her cabin, placed her bag down, and only then—

“Good morning, ma’am.”

Her assistant stood already prepared, tablet in hand.

She gave a small nod. Nothing more.

Her phone suddenly vibrated.

She glanced at the screen.

Roseane.

She picked it up.

“You’re at the office already?”

Her sister’s voice was calm… but carrying that familiar authority.

“Yes.”

“You’re supposed to be resting.”

A pause.

She leaned slightly against her desk, eyes distant.

“I’m fine.”

“You always say that,” Roseane sighed softly.

“At least don’t overdo it today.”

Another silence.

Not disagreement. Just… distance.

“I’ll manage.”

“You don’t always have to.”

The line went quiet for a second longer than usual.

“I’ll see you at home,” Roseane added, softer now.

“Hmm.”

The call ended.

For a moment, she just stood there… before placing the phone aside like nothing had happened.......

Few minutes later..

She picked up a file from her desk.

“Send this to Dad,” she said, extending it toward her assistant.

Her assistant took it carefully.

“Yes, ma’am.”

A brief pause.

“Tell him it’s finalized.”

“Yes.”

She turned away before any further conversation could begin.

“Your schedule for today,” the assistant began, handing over the tablet.

She scanned it quickly.

“Reschedule the 2 p.m. meeting.”

“Ma’am, the client insisted—”

“Then they can insist tomorrow.”

No change in tone. No irritation. Just… final.

“…Understood.”

“And cancel anything unnecessary.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

The assistant hesitated for half a second.

“You should eat something before the meeting.”

Silence.

A slow glance.

Not angry,Just enough to remind boundaries exist.

“…I’ll arrange it,” the assistant corrected quickly.

She looked away.

Conversation over...

She sat down, the city stretching beyond the glass walls of her office.

Everything was in place.

Everything was under control.

And yet… something about the day felt slightly off.

After the work , she finally gets out of the 20 story building, and finds her black limousine standing right at the entrance, without noticing whose driving she gets in the car , and takes a breath in sigh.......

After sometime she opens her laptop, and finishes the remaining emails..

She received a text ,

[Jina] : Bar tonight,🥂🍾😉

[Jennie] : Busy.

[Jina] : There are some really hot guys. 🔥

[Jennie] : That your only selling point?

[Jina] : Works on you.😏

[Jennie]: Not wrong.

[Jina] : So come, I need someone to drink with🙏🏻🥺, plus I want my friend to have some fun 😁.

[Jennie] : I don’t repeat people.

[Jina] : I know. New faces only, right?

[Jennie]: Easier that way.

[Jina]: You ever think of… not treating it like a habit?

[Jennie]: Tried that once.

[Jina]: And?

[Jennie] :Stayed too long, Trusted too much, Didn’t end well.

[Jina] : So now you just keep it casual?

[Jennie]: yeah! No expectations, No drama,

No one gets close enough to matter, just one time sex..

(pause)

[Jina]: You really don’t feel anything?

[Jennie]: I didn’t say that,I just don’t let it stay.

(typing…)

[Jennie]: One hour...

[ Jina] : got it..⌛..

She told her driver to stop at bar..

Her driver replied okay..

She noticed something unfamiliar, but chooses to ignore..

She gets out of the limousine and entered the bar...

At bar:

As usual the bar is filled with youngsters ,

Jennie without wasting any second enters

VIP lounge, she then spotted jina , who was flirting with a guy , and seems to be touching jina inappropriately ..

She walks towards them .... And pushes the guy.

Jina : hey Jennie calm he is just my date...

Jennie: ohh

Guy : whispered jina , scoffs and leaves .

Jina : gave Jennie the room pass...

Jennie: ( smirks) and sits with jina ..and drinks shots ..

Few minutes of drinking,

Jina : ( stood up) hey gotta go , my date is continuously texting, and now go to ur room and enjoy and please don't forget to use protection...( Leaves)

Jennie: ( nodded) proceeds to stand up and walk straight to her usual VIP room..

( Knocks at the door)

The room opened ..

A guy sitting in the room waiting for her as her date but little he didn't know this girl don't attach heart ...

They sat in middle drinking silently..... Suddenly Jennie decides to take lead ... She grabbed guys neck and started kissing after few minutes she let go off him... but she didn't move further ... She stopped.

Confusing the guy..

She then grabbed her phone and walked out of the lounge...( Unable to walk properly)

She somehow managed to go out of the bar..... She then walks towards her limousine and tries to unlock it ...

Suddenly....her driver came out to help her..

She stepped out, barely looking up—until she realized something was different.

It wasn’t the driver.

Someone else stood there.

Younger,Still, Unfamiliar.

“Where is Mr. Monoban?” she asked, her voice calm.

“He’s unwell, ma’am.”

His voice was steady. Not nervous. Not eager.

Just… controlled.

“I’ll be driving for a few days.”

She looked at him then. Properly.

Not because she wanted to…

but because something about him didn’t match the role he stood in.

“Name?”

“Lisa”

A pause..........

“Son of Mr. Monoban , ma’am.”

He added it himself.

As if reminding both of them where he

belonged.

" But don't u go to the college, what about it?"

" I will manage ma' am " ..with a sincere and warm smile

She gave a slight nod , and walked past him and entered the limousine..

But for the first time in a long while…

she noticed someone twice.......
