來自香港的程式設計師家豪，生活在由代碼、數據與已婚責任構成的「無狀態」矩陣中。直到他在高雄的藝廊邂逅了攝影師雅。雅以獨特的「呼吸感」風格聞名，她只說普通話，而家豪習慣英語與粵語，語言的斷層反而讓身體與感官成為了他們之間唯一的通訊協定。

在濕度 85% 的鹽埕區工作室、紅光氤氳的暗房，以及墾丁荒野的雷雨車廂內，家豪體內固若金湯的邏輯防線徹底崩解。他將雅視為生命中最重要的「致命 Bug」，一個無法被除錯、只能任其溢位的異常。

然而，現實的索引（家庭、名聲、社會秩序）始終牽引著他們。故事跨越高雄、香港，最終抵達巴黎大皇宮。雅成為了享譽國際的藝術家，而家豪則重回冰冷的中環，繼續維護那段名存實亡的婚姻。
