The best advice I ever got was from a total stranger. After a tough day of school, dealing with bullies and a fight between two of my friends, I found myself in the bathroom crying. A junior approached me and listened to my story, before sharing the advice her mother had once told her.

"People want to see you fail and they're going to get pleasure from your pain. show the world you are brave and beautiful, because twenty years from now they'll wish they had what you have now."
