In the city of Valyrdonn, spirits and humans live in complacent peace with each other, the border between the living and the dead blurred as a still heart never means the end. Warriors of the Order of the Blue Rose work to keep this peace, a peace that is inevitably broken when a spirit of the forest enters the city, hunting two teens responsible for a heinous crime leaving particular warrior known as Grifftec caught in the middle of it all.
