Sungai yang Memisahkan

 

Dulu kita berdiri di tepi sungai yang sama,

Menatap masa depan dengan penuh pesona.

Namun kini sungai itu memisahkan kita,

Karena kesalahan yang tak termaafkan secara nyata.

 

Maafkan aku, telah membuatmu kecewa,

Dengan perbuatan buruk yang tak seharusnya ada.

Kini ku terpisah darimu,

Di seberang sungai yang tak bertepi tentu.

 

Kucoba seberangi sungai yang memisahkan,

Namun arus terlalu deras dan tak tertahankan.

Kau adalah takdirku,

Yang telah hilang dari genggamanku.

 

Biarlah sungai ini menjadi batasan,

Agar ku selalu ingat akan kesalahan.

Ku coba bangun jembatan yang baru,

Agar cinta bisa kembali hadir dengan restu.
