I look at the boy again. "Where am I?" The boy straighten up and stood, facing the waters he took out a golden telescope from his belt and begun looking at it from the ocean, to the woods and ahead.
"We are not far from the borders of the Queen, but it will not be nighttime until the Sorcerer and Hook would start their patrol. So we may need to hurry out of here." He said, but I honestly didn't understand anything. "Why are you in the water at these hours? You know that those nasty sirens would be luring you in until you drown to death." I couldn't believe he said that all in one huff. I couldn't understand what his blubbering about. He surely doesn't look like a crazy man, but what he said weird-ed me out. But one thing is for sure, I need to get back. The director probably had already ushered the kids inside, and finding me nowhere... she'll probably freak out.
I was about to open my mouth to ask for directions when a trumpet was blown not far away. The boy's eyes widened. He cursed in a language I couldn't understand and approached me fast. He wrap his hands on my wrist tightly. "Hey!" I protested. But he continued and hauled me up, not minding my protest.
"Look, I do not know if you're from those towns nearby or not, but one thing is for sure, the sorceress will kill you if she finds out that you are not from here." Another protest threatens to escape my mouth when a gallop of horses caught my attention, the sound of the howling scared me.
