BlackHoleChris here - yes, it's me again. Ever since the original Space of Spies I wanted to write a book which takes place on Mars. Space of Spies: Stranded fulfilled this wish.
One thing you may have noticed is that there is a singular villainous group with one major scheme: Roby and the Martians (the criminal group!) with their the Martian Revolution. After the convoluted plots of the previous book, I felt like returning to the old formula which your familiar with from the first two books: include one major villain and give them focus.
I don't think that any of the two approaches are inherently bad, but I want to switch things up every now and then to make each book unique.
That was my little rant, now it's time to focus on you, dear reader. Big thanks for giving Space of Spies: Stranded a read. It truly means a lot for me and amplifies my satisfaction with writing those e-books.
