- Are you sure that this is a good idea? - Amber was skeptical after learning about Anthony's new plan.

- Not really, but there is no plan B. It's pretty much our only way in without Roby - Anthony responded.

- Maybe we should try searching for him one more time? - I suggested.

- Does Roby even know about our investigation? Big Donny was the one who enlisted us, not him - Arika interrupted.

- How about we consult Big Donny? - Amber proposed.

- That's... actually a good idea - Anthony changed course.

- Let's call Dawn and Sebastian. They should help us get in touch with Donny - I added.

Anthony did just that. We had to wait for a bit, but Dawn eventually picked up. Calling your own adversary and asking her for help felt a bit weird, but this time, we're in the same team. For now, at least. Dawn's probably going to jail after this operation is over.

- What now? - Dawn answered our call.

- You made it to the construction site? - my dad asked.

- Yes, why does that matter? - Dawn grumped.

- We need to join you and talk to Big Donny - I filled her in.

- Well, I lost track of him... He's probably still in here... - Dawn was visibly unsure.

- I see him! - we suddenly heard Sebastian. He was still by Dawn.

- Good. Can you tell us how to get there? - Anthony asked.

Sebastian went on to plot out our route and it wasn't long before we found the digsite. It was separated from the rest of the base by a large airlock, so that dust and toxic minerals won't make their way into the outpost. We had to get spacesuits, but there was no way to bring ours in here. We had to resort to using worker suits attatched to the wall. I'm sure that somebody had worn them before, but they were better than nothing.

As soon as we entered the construction site, a cloud of dust swirled past us. A lot of machines and men were working hard to excavate regolith and expand the tunnels for base-building purposes. Since the surface is permanently bombarded by deadly radiation, the best approach is to hide deep underground. It may be depressing for some, but it's a living.

We met up with Dawn and Sebastian shortly after our entry. Sebastian was supervising some small, robotic excavators, because he had nothing better to do and work was compulsory. He led us to Big Donny, who was busy smashing rocks with a pickaxe. He is, in fact, very strong.

- A little fun fact about Big Donny - Dawn started - His real name is Donald Werkheart, but most colonists pronounce it "Workhard".

- That's quite adequate, considering his life goals - I noted.

- Hey, Big Donny! - Anthony approached the celebrity, but Donny didn't hear him.

My father had to stand in front of the massive man to catch his attention.

- How is the investigation going? - Donny asked.

- We deduced that the thief is hiding in the prison below us, but we don't have the clearence. We assume that you may have one, so could you use it to let us in? - Anthony was polite.

- Eh, I don't have a clearence. I'm here to gain fame... ahem, work, not guard people who disrespect the rules and put our colony in danger. I think Roby has one, but I couldn't get in touch with him since the ice cream vanished. Sorry - Big Donny shrugged.

- Okay, thank you - Anthony left him behind.

- Looks like plan A must go through - Amber sighed.

- Wait - Dawn was in the middle of coming up with something new - If the prison level is below us and there are machines with impact hammers in here, can we break into the prison?

- How on Mars will we bring one of those out unnoticed? - Sebastian was skeptical, which wasn't surprising, because he made a good point.

After the unfortunate celebration inevitably came to an end, the people flooded back into their workplaces. Everyone was sad, to the point where they were working at a visibly slower pace. The only exception is Big Donny, who seemingly doesn't mind the ice cream, only focusing on his duty and fame.

- Maybe we can break one of them and bring it out for maitenance? We have a mechanic in our team, after all - I realised.

- That involves getting our hands dirty, which isn't a thing I'd like to do - Amber sighed.

- No problem for me - said Dawn, a space criminal.

She split off from our group and located a small black and yellow rover with an impact hammer mounted onto the front arm. However, she had some restraints and instead of getting herself into trouble, Dawn merely nudged the rover, which rolled over to Big Donny, who was so focused on his work that he didn't really care about his surroundings. Whilst trying to break a rock apart, he swung his pickaxe and smashed the vehicle.

While all of this was happening, Anthony called Claudius, as we needed our mechanic on the spot. Claudius soon arrived, but because all the spacesuits were occupied, he had to wait outside.

We encountered the same local who informed us about John Premium. Being a really friendly guy, he helped us bring the damaged rover to a special hatch created specifically for bringing broken equipment through.

- Happens every now and then, don't worry - the guy told us upon sliding the rover into the hatch.

Big Donny was clearly puzzled by the whole situation, but he didn't pay much attention to us, because he was surrounded by a group of surprised colonists, who never expected to see Big Donny himself breaking something. It's like the opposite of what Big Donny would do.

Thanks to this, little to no one cared about our operation and we were quick to leave the construction site. Sure, we caused some damage, but it was small compared to what the robbers had done. Plus, we still have the Martians (the evil organization) to worry about, so what we've just done is pretty insignificant compared to that.

Claudius had to use a peculiar apparatus to wash off the dust, so that we won't be poisoned by it. Sebastian and Claudius carried the rover to our desired location, which was the lung, because under the current circumstances, not many passed through it, so it was the perfect spot for drilling.

Amber led us to the lung as she had memorized the path. We promptly set up the rover, with me being on lookout duty. We waited for a dissapointed scientist to go away and activated the impact hammer.

At this point, we noticed that it was really loud. However, before anyone noticed and came over to see what's happenning, the impact hammer broke through the floor, sending us plummeting straight into the prison. Into a prison cell, to be more precise.

We hoped to avoid being arrested and enter the prison in a nicer manner, but we ended up becoming prisoners anyway. A 3D printing robot was quick to fill in the gap created by our rover, sealing the cracks and leaving us imprisoned.
