This story idea came about when I came across a tweet talking about a murderer, H.H Holmes who bought a building for him to kill and slaughter people. 

A girl is being kidnapped and held captive by a psychological unsound man. Instead of wanting sum of ransom, he wanted to play a game of chase with her. And of course, things went wrong. Especially in the Slaughter Home.
