Each of these stages affects how people learn and behave.
The most dangerous is Stage 1. When you don’t know what you don’t know, you may make mistakes unconsciously and never learn from them.
I’m not going to explain all the stages here, because you can search the web if you’re interested.
The main thing I want to share is this: always remind yourself to stay open-minded so you don't get stuck in Stage 1.
