Faithfully I served, till my faithfulness preserved me from death's calling,

But son, what nature are you manifesting?

What God is this,

That my father speaks of?

Spending hours within the congregation,

Speaking of circumcision and Consecration.

What commandments are these,

That is too hard to follow?

A path i will make for myself,

As the wind blows, where my desire flows, there will I be carried.

The gods of heaven, that turn not a stern eye, will I follow.

Their alters, with my hands, I will rebuild.

I will lead this nation,

As I please, for I am the king.

Why consult a God I cannot see?

To baal, I am more keen,

What is the Lord that I must be mindful of?

Who is Jehovah, that I must tremble and fear?

I have spoken.

In His temple, would I erect a symbol.

Within His courts,

Would I establish my alters.

Who would question my decision,

And who, would refute my requests?

To eyes that cannot see and mouths unable to speak.

The mediums knew his name,

Necromancer, dwelt at his place.

His enemies weren't far from his doorsteps.

Both him and his followers, will I destroy.
