這部《泥城之戀》是發生於花蓮光復鄉的現代版傾城之戀轉化版


創作過程中，我常覺得這些角色，是從光復鄉這片土地的脈絡中自行「長」了出來，


故事靈感源自 2025 年 9 月 23 日馬太鞍溪堰塞湖潰壩事件 ，借用了張愛玲《傾城之戀》的母題：在城市崩壞中，兩人的關係被迫確認 。


離婚返鄉的白琉璃與台北外來者六甲，原本在各自的寂寞裡保持安全距離並不斷拉扯 ，然而當泥流吞噬村落、家園頃刻覆滅，這場 923 災害竟成了他們生命重疊的唯一契機 。


寫作此書並非為了浪漫化災難，而是希望在現實的崩塌裡，替光復多留一點聲音。當這場災害在新聞中隨即被淡忘，


唯有故事能留下光復鄉不被抹滅的重量 。這是一場發生在泥城裡的倖存，更是一個為了讓大家記得、讓光復鄉不是因在災害被記憶  是被新時代的重生中轉化成亮點
