隨著科學革命，地理大發現等，人類生活的領域逐漸擴大，也因為科學革命，精靈、妖怪等生物也逐漸消失在人類的世界中。但他們並沒有消失，有兩位魔法師創造了另一個世界，將這些受人類迫害的生物轉移到那裡生活。

然而在歐洲，只有一種完美融入人類社會的妖怪不願意進入那個世界——吸血鬼。
