It was an ordinary winter morning when the college bus came to pick me up. I sat at the back with the window open, letting the cold, harsh winter air blow on my face. Cold air directly hitting my face always makes my nose tingle and makes me sneeze, but I still love the feeling of air cutting through my face.
We were halfway along the journey when we reached a commercial area. Along the road there were many street vendors and beggars. Our bus slowed down for a moment, and my eyes locked with those of two little girls. They might have been 7–9 years old. I can't recall clearly, but maybe they were selling something. As soon as our eyes met, I sneezed. Both girls immediately started laughing at me. Seeing them laugh, I started laughing too. Soon the bus sped away, and they were lost from my view, but I kept laughing, thinking about it for a good minute.
I will obviously never see those girls again. In fact, I can't even recall how they looked properly. But this memory is still funny, and somehow special. It reminds of the simpler side of life.
