This is a "missing archive" from the Wisely saga—a chapter that was once deliberately erased.

It is March 1989, and the spring rains are incessant. Fresh from the events of The Wrong Hands (Cuo Shou), Wisely receives another distress call from the tycoon, Hassan. In the very same old warehouse that brought the Hassan family both their fortune and their fear, a second mysterious iron cabinet has been unearthed.

Unlike the previous vessel that could freeze time, this cabinet is "alive."

Though silent, it radiates a maddening low-frequency wave. All who approach it are consumed by anxiety and blind rage, perfectly embodying the Buddhist concept of the "Mind Ape"—a restless, chaotic, and untamable heart.

When a metal plate engraved with mysterious coordinates falls from the container, Wisely is forced to embark on a perilous journey. The trail leads from the gloomy, rain-swept warehouses of the New Territories to the "Devil's City" in the Great Northwest, where five black pillars have towered over the desert for a millennium, and finally to a terrifying gravity anomaly deep within the East China Sea.

When the "divine suppression" of mythology turns out to be extraterrestrial punishment... When legendary "magical artifacts" are revealed to be gravitational wave weapons...

Wisely discovers that he is not facing a god, but an interstellar prisoner incarcerated for a thousand years.
