I looked around, I was done with my work and had nothing to do so...yeah. "Hey Clar, could you help me with this problem?" A fellow classmate asked; "Yeah, sure Maria." I replied. Maria was a beautiful girl with golden brown hair. She was really talented as well so I was happy to help her.
--few minutes later--
"Ok so, since 5+4+6=15, you need to divide it by the number of digits so... 15/3=5!" I smiled and she laughed. "Thanks Clar! Oh yeah, a guy asked me to give you this." She wiggled her eyebrows and handed me a small velvet box. I peered inside and pulled out a small note:
'Get detention from Mr.Hanby next period kid.'
I immediately turned to Mr.Wildcat as he looked up from his marking routine to smirk at me. I nodded; he suddenly shot me a look of confusion and pointed at the box. I got the hint and took a closer look into the box. It was a small beeping toy! Now I know how to get detention...
--History--
I sat impatiently during the class, fidgeting and pulling at my fingers; I kept looking up and noticed that Mr.Hanby seemed a bit impatient as well. He turned around to write something on the board and I snickered a bit; 'This is my chance!' I thought and was about to press the button when I felt a hand stop me.
"Dont want to make the teacher mad now do we?" Cempaka mocked. "Shush you!" I whispered harshly and pressed the button even with her finger there. "Ouch!" She shouted, but it was muffled by the loud laughing sounds that emitted from the toy. I hid my smirk as Mr.Hanby stopped writing.
"Who did that?" He asked, no answer. "WHO. DID. THAT?" He repeated sternly and I stood up with a smirk. "Clarissa was that your phone?" He calmed down; and his lips slowly raised at a corner forming a smirk. "No, Mr.Hanby" I smiled naughtily; "It was this~" I said smoothly, fiddling with the toy and spinning it in my fingertips. "Oh," he trailed off, "Mrs.Clarissa DS, toys are not allow in my class and you know what that means?" He smiled devilishly. "Detention?" I smiled innocently and kept my questioning look.
He nodded, "Detention with Mr.Fong." I gulped. Having a detention is one thing; having a detention with the disciplinary teacher is another... I nodded reluctantly and sat down in my place.
--lunch--
(A/N: both Clarissa's and Cempaka's detentions are after school now)
I sat down with my friends and chatted. Sharr and Aanchal hung out with each other for the day so that they could venture around; so I just wanted to stay here with them. Suddenly, Prisha's eyes twinkled with excitement. I chuckled as I heard Samarth gag, "Why're you so excited Prisha?" Adi asked; dragging the word: 'excited'. "Lets play spin the bottle!" She cheered, holding up her bottle; we all went a bit blank for a second, trying to proccess what she said. "NO." We all disagreed in unision.
Her smile faded a bit, "Fine...How about truth or dare?" She asked with hope; after a brief minute or two, we all agreed and we started our game.
--few rounds later--
"Basim! Truth or Dare??" Deepak asked his best friend, "Truth!" Basim answered with just as much excitement. "Do you like anyone in this group?" He asked and we all watched closely as he nodded shyly. "Has to be Prisha.." Cecile murmered, "Nah, she's Samarths'" Basim laughed and Prisha literally got up to chase him. They came back after awhile and calmed down as we continued the game.
--Detention--
"Mr.Fong?" I called as I poked my head through the small gap in the door. "Enter." I obliged and walked in; Evan swivled his chair to face me. "Ive been expecting you." He smiled softly and I smiled back.
After a few minutes of awkward silence he spoke, "Im going over to talk to Mr.Benn. Dont destroy the class while Im away alright?" Evan said and I nodded with a small salute.
~Cempaka's p.o.v~
I sighed as I sat across to Mr.Benn, "Cook?" It was Mr.Fong, "Yes Evan?" He replied cockily; Mr.Fong motioned him to come over and he left the class.
It was getting boring so I leaned my head against the wall and began to sing a tune.
~Third person p.o.v~
