I participated in a contest where the intention was to write a story based on a song. I enjoyed doing so, as I often do it in my head already. Most songs are written because of an event or emotion that the singer is experiencing or has experienced. This is taking the lyrics as inspiration to spin a tale; this doesn't tell the actual inspiration for the songs, nor are any of the following based on real individuals. It is just the story that plays in my mind when I hear the song. I hope you enjoy.

Note: This will not be a consistently published story, and this is like a creative exercise for me to get my brain working in a direction for other material I create. If you have song suggestions, leave them in the comment section!
