不知從何時開始，這世界誕生了名為「髢謌」的物種，他們的樣貌千奇百怪，共通點是他們都以人類為食、皮膚上具有深棕色的堅硬鎧甲，還具備著常人所無法理解的「特殊能力」，因此在髢謌出現後，人類短時間內無法應付強大的髢謌，只能淪為髢謌的美食。


  為了對抗髢謌，人類成立了髢謌獵人協會，並從死刑犯中挑選幾位合適人選，並將其施打由髢謌皮膚和細胞製成的疫苗，使人類獲得了僅有髢謌所能擁有的超能力，作為「髢謌獵人」與髢謌對戰。


  在此制度進行了多年時間，髢謌獵人也成立了無數次、毀滅了無數次。到了現今，由隊長劉子琳為首的第16代髢謌獵人部隊正式成立，其成員包含：看似人畜無害的高中生，實際上是殺人犯的溫宇誠、不死之身且擁有髢謌身軀的劉子靖、曾經作為詐騙集團首腦的江楓瑜，還有曾經的財團幹部蘇誠。


  其中，劉子靖由於自身身體的特殊性而想自我了斷，但身為不死之身的他卻遲遲無法如願，湊巧這樣的他被殺人犯溫宇誠愛上，因此溫宇誠向劉子靖約定：自己有一天一定會殺了他。


  在充滿反社會人格、人渣和騙子的髢謌獵人陣營中，故事由此開始……
