我最喜歡的是亞洲傳奇系列小說裡的《高貴之家》Noble House (The Asian Saga) （Amazon有售），是將日本男演員真田廣之推到職業新高點的《將軍》的後續故事之一，主要述說香港大班現代接班人的故事。據說這個小說系列是幾十年來歐美國家對亞洲文化好奇人們的必備之書。

早在很多年前我就看過亞洲傳奇系列小說，會知道本書是某次在電視上看到重播，年輕的演員皮爾斯・布洛斯南（可說是他顏值巔峰時期）主演的美國迷你影集《高貴之家》（Amazon有售）。可惜作者後來沒有完成系列就過世，不過他對亞洲仔細的觀察在他寫作的年代屬於少數吧。
