Lunamei didn't have much of a life outside the void. She suffered greatly from idiopathic hypersomnia, and wasn't diagnosed until she met Chiaka. Her real parents were neglectful, never allowing her to attend school, nor letting her celebrate birthdays or holidays; they even locked her inside her bedroom when they left the house.

She rules over the Blood Arcade, a small city with a large pier, filled with arcades and restaurants, surrounded by a sea of blood. She rides with Mimi around the city, always on a skateboard. She has her own studio where she conceptualizes products for her city, and the cities of her friends.
