千層蛋糕（Layer Cake），在英國通常稱為sandwich cake。

這是一種由一些非常薄的蛋糕片堆疊出來的蛋糕，每層蛋糕片之間會夾有奶油或者果醬。

通常蛋糕表面會塗抹奶油霜，我則比較喜歡不加任何裝飾，看見清楚每一層蛋糕片和餡料。

不過千層蛋糕要做得好吃，真的很花心思欸，找天有空挑戰看看。
