The morning started out peaceful and quiet. That's how I knew that it would be horrible. It's been a few months now, and I finally feel better about camp. I've managed to make a few friends, one of them being Solana's younger sister, Liah. I know I'll never get her back, but at least me and Liah know each other's pain.
Anyways, I'm sitting here in bed, waiting for something to go wrong. Whether another world-ending prophecy is going to be spewed out or some no shot thing is going to happen, I know that I don't want to be apart of it.
So of course I probably will be.
I decide to go walk around camp. Most of the Apollo kids know and like me, though most of them I've barely talked to. Kayla and Austin are kind of like my friends, I guess.
I spot Will running errands around camp with Austin while Kayla is, of course, at the archery range. Nico is chatting with Eurydice, so I decide to shadowtravel close enough to hear them, but far enough not to be noticed. I love eavesdropping on these two. They always have some interesting conversations even if they're not talking to each other.
"I'm worried. Something feels off about today." Nico is talking both fast and quiet, so as not to frighten others even if he is frightened himself.
"Yeah. Are we the only ones who feel this?" Eurydice also seems tense.
"No." I interject. Eurydice jumps and I can see Nico flinch the tiniest bit.
"Gees Luna! Don't do that!" Nico is up to a talking voice now. I'm surprised at first, mostly because I thought Eurydice would be the one to say something like that.
"Fine, fine." I sighed. I don't feel like being lectured right now. We sit there in silence for a few more minutes. I can hear other campers talking and laughing like usual, though it feels wrong to me. They have to notice the tension in today, right? Either way, I'm not excited for what comes next.

The mess hall is loud with chatter as me, Nico, Eurydice, Liah, Will, Kayla, and Austin sit there in a state of preserving. We're trying to keep the moment safe, hoping that today doesn't go as wrong as we feel like it is. I'm moving my soda can in a circular motion with my wrist, trying as best as I can to see the liquid slosh against the sides of the can. Suddenly, I hear a sort of voice in my head.
Who is this?
The person is most definitely a girl around my age.
Depends on who you are.
I answer.
I'm Aru Shah, the Pandava with the soul of Arjuna.
I don't know who that is, but I decide I could try to become friends with her. It's probably not going to happen, but I don't care.
Cool. I'm Luna. Are you a demigod too?\
Yeah! My dad is Indra, the Hindi god of thunder, lightning, storms, rain, and war.
Oh cool! My dad is the Greek god of the underworld, Hades.
Wow! My friend Mini is the daughter of our god of death.
It's nice to meet you! Where are you currently?
I'm in New Jersey. Where are you?
I'm on Long Island. Is there any way you could come here?
I could try.
And with that, the messages stopped.
"Earth to Luna!" Will was snapping his fingers in front of Luna's face.
"What?" She snapped at him. She most certainly didn't like him doing that.
"Did you zone out or something? I couldn't reach you at all."
"Yeah, something like that." I then abruptly stood up and threw the rest of my food in the fire, which was basically my whole plate. Then I began walking circles around the camp. Suddenly I saw a girl by Thalia's tree, and I decided she could be whoever I talked to earlier. I think her name was Ari. Meh, I'll just find out when I talk to her.
"Who are you?" I said to her, half hoping she would just be some new arrival.
"I'm Aru Shah." Yep it was her. Oh her name is Aru, not Ari. Haha.
"Oh! I'm Luna!" Aru's face seemed to light up a bit.
"C'mon Mini! I'm 90 percent sure these people don't bite. I hope you don't mind that I brought a friend."
"No. Not at all." I can feel myself smiling a genuine smile. I never do that anymore!
"Come with me. I'm sure Dionysus won't mind you staying in my cabin." I wanted to welcome these girls with my whole heart. It's not everyday you meet Hindi demigods. In fact, no one at this camp has ever met one. [At least I don't think so.]

I decided to attend the campfire with them tonight. The seven and Thalia decided to come her and get together tonight and tomorrow, I think Hades cabin was actually singing in this skit that the seven decided it would be fun to do with Nico and will.
"Hello friends I'm the color red, and I brought my to could teach you about them." Piper and some of her siblings was dressed in all red from head to toe. I've heard this before, actually. It got funny at black. Wait, me and Nico are the color black "They're the colors of all the things you see, let's start with us the color of awesome things! Like hearts and rainbows and mars!" Piper and her siblings continued, "But most importantly, Love love love love love!"
"Blood blood blood blood blood." Me and Nico were off to the side, saying that at the same time that the girls said love. This is going to be fun.
"Hi we're orange like mac and cheese." Jason and Thalia began. Thalia looked like she was forced to do it. "Let's name other orange things now if you please. You got pumpkins, and tigers, and the desert sand-"
"Prescription bottles" Nico and I interjected.
"-Are your orange friend." They were acting happy but you could tell their smiled were forced. That was what it was supposed to be like. "La la la la la la" Jason continued. "Chills1"
"Pills!' Nico and I were nailing our part. We also tried our best to look grumpy. We looked like criminals in our full black outfits. Or emo, but I guess that describes Nico on a daily basis.
"What are you doing?" Jason came up to ask us.
"What I was born to do" we said in perfect unison.
Next Will came up.
"As you can probably guess yellow's pretty fun-" Will began to say in his funny-sounding country accent.
"WILL!" Nico and I yelled
"You can find it on a bus or the rays of the sun." Will kept up his cheery smile.
"JAUNDICE" We both sounded kind of annoyed at this point.
"if you ask me, yellow's number one!" Will was waving his hands side to side along with the beat.
"Liver failure." It wasn't quite a yell, but me and Nico were still pretty loud.
"If you like yellow, and sour, then try a lemon!"
'Jaundice!" All of us yelled.
Leo was up next. I don't know why he was alone, and I definitely don't know why he was green, but we all went with it.
"I once ate a bug that was the color green, but the E.R. said it was a poisonous thing. So that explains why I threw up green, and inside that green there were chunks of green. I bet you wish you hadn't listened to green." Nope, I see why Leo got the color green.
Someone shouted hooray. I don't know which one, but I know somebody did.
"Why didn't you change that one?" Percy asked.
"We liked that verse." Nico did the talking this time.
Next up, Percy. Hey wait, I just realized everyone in camp is at this bonfire. I guess we're entertaining. Even Dionysus looked pleased with it.
"The ocean is a place where many-" Percy was promptly cut off.
"Nightmares live." Me and Nico began
"It's the deep blue sea-" :Percy tried to stay cheery
"And It'll kill you to death! Especially if you are on the Titanic so let that sink in. Pun intended." Nico and I are both secretly vibing at this point.
Frank walks over, pushing us farther out of the way.
"C'mon, don't blow this for us guys!" Frank is supposed to be mad at us, and it actually invokes a bit of fear in me. The others were supposed to be getting mad at us at this point too.
"Purple is the color of many pretty things from a lilac-" He gets cut off by me and Nico tasing him. Haha, it's funny. The others start screaming.
Grover walks up.
"Alright I guess it's my turn." There's an anxious tone to his words. Nico and I are standing right behind him. "There are brown things like dirt, I uh, can't remember the words. Please don't hurt. Me." We then tase him. Poor guys. I mean, they knew what they were signing up for, but still.
Annabeth walks up with an uncomfortable expression on her face.
"All white things include-" Her voice is shaky and forced as she tries to take Nico's taser. Perfect.
"All broken bones." I sing
"And doves and paper-"
"And rabies foam." Nico begins
"There's ivory!
"-Worth a lot of money. If you wanna buy some than email me!" Me and Nico conclude.
"Hooray!" Leo exclaims.
"Black is the color of emptiness" Nico sings
"I can feel it in my soul 'cause I'm an emotional mess" Nico joins in on emotional mess, and points at me for emphasis. Thanks big bro.
That's when Frank body slams both of us. I'm knocked unconsiouss, so bear with me because the rest of this was told by Will.
Hazel now walks in wearing skin colored clothing. [Except for the fact that it's more like Frank's skin color than hers.]
"I'm the last crayon in the box you see. The color they assigned to me is this! Just think about it!" She then makes a grumpy face, which turns out just looking cute because it's Hazel, y'know?
Then apparently, everyone took a bow while Will tried to shake me awake.
That's when Rachel came to spew the prophecy.
