Through the darkness of a hall stands a man, his breath low with injuries that should’ve rendered him dead. Yet he stands as if they were nothing more than an inconvenience. He starts running full speed with what's in front of him seeming blurry. Even so he places each foot in front of the other with endless conviction to finish what he has started. He will not fall, he must stand “unbroken”. The very thought of such a word brings back memories, with his mind so shattered it's rare when a memory becomes as clear as this so he allows himself to think back. To the high before the fall.

SV bears a marking on his left shoulder although the others are unaware of the weight it carries. It is no ordinary mark as it is a god mark meant to be proof of his connection to his father, God. SV is the triplet to red and blue and is unaware of their current situation as he has been off the map for months. The only person who could possibly find him is also missing.

SV was introduced to Alora by red as a kind of therapy person. She was meant to be a positive influence on SV’s life to combat his negative lifestyle. With her mysterious nature and unkillable attitude it was pretty much impossible to get rid of her. He never actually wanted her but red made it so she was determined to help him. Alora the embodiment of dreams. From what SV has learned about her she usually resides in a different dimension. He remembers being in there a few times as part of his therapy, mainly because under normal circumstances she can’t be outside of her realm. She must reside in her realm of dreams to stay awake as if she ever leaves she will immediately collapse fast asleep. It’s ironic how she manages to stay awake in the dream world but is rendered helplessly asleep in the real one.
As of late clearly something has changed her connection with the dream realm is starting to fade as she hasn’t been able to return. It was quickly overrun with a swarm of those creatures. She considered returning to fight them off but with their current shared adaption if she tried to fight them as she recharged they would just adapt to a stronger version of her. This would make them stronger and her useless so they decided against it. She has decided to use her power sparingly leaving SV and Backlash to do most of the fighting, only stepping in when absolutely needed. Her power is undeniably one of the most versatile and destructive of the embodiments but without access to her realm to recharge she's running on backup reserves. She won’t last forever and they know it which is why she's benched every fight.

Backlash on the other hand was a different story. SV had met Backlash on the battlefield as an outcast member of the shikari race, a powerful race of warriors on the surface seeming primitive but usually dawning powerful technology and known for their brutal ways so to be considered an outcast you must’ve been one or both of two things. One, too brutal for even the shikari to stand. Which is really saying something for a warrior race. Or two dishonored by your people and outcasted from their planet. Usually outcasts are both.

Backlash has cybernetic enhancements made from starphrite metal, a rare metal constructed from the cataclysm of the big bang. It holds many different properties or colors when altered. Backlash dawned Starphrite nano-steel omega 2-22, also known as the kinetic steel. It can store and redistribute kinetic energy. This allowed for the user to store the energy and use it to heal or boost themselves or store the energy and fire it back at their opponents. His seemed to glow a red hue. Not all kinetic steels did this, so whether it was by choice or not SV never cared enough to ask. On the battlefield though, his work was some of the best. Starphrite is nearly unbreakable so he earned the title Backlash the Invulnerable.

SV had heard of such a man but he was nothing more than folk lore. It was said that all that opposed him never lived to tell the tale so it was hard to believe that such a man existed. Until he saw it himself. While with alora traveling he had stumbled across one of Backlashes victims nearly bleeding out. He wanted to ignore it but Alora insisted they found out the cause of it. Through him they were able to track down Backlash. SV wasn’t impressed by what he saw though quickly deeming the man he stood before him nothing more than a disappointment. It didn’t take long for him to see how wrong he was.

They quickly began a trade of blows. It was a constant back and forth with neither making any progress with SV no way to bypass his durability even with his shatter energy and with Backlash no way to keep an immortal down for good they went on to fight for 13 days straight before collapsing from exhaustion both physically and mentally. SV walked forward, his mind clouded with a thought that has plagued him since this chaos started. He can't help but wonder why her realm specifically was overrun as most of the other embodiment realms were left vacant. This fact has led to believe that there has to be a bigger plan with someone moving them as pawns. They must’ve saw alora as a pawn dangerously close to becoming a queen so they blocked off her path to the end of the board to halt her potential. As they walk they finally reach their destination. It's a small cave that leads into a bigger cave system on the inside. It is just outside the small village housing around 300 villagers. Alora had guided them here as SV and Backlash fought before returning to check their progress.

SV lies back down eating a fish trying his best to simulate what it would taste like from what he’s seen. He can feel each tastebud forming as he using all he knows about fish to form the perfect sensation. The flavor melts on his mouth and the fish is crushed under the weight of his teeth. He can’t believe he skipped out on something like this.

Alora chuckles to herself about the oddity of it before resting against a rock. SV lays back down with a slight smile before closing his eyes and drifting off to a realm of sleep. His own void of shattered memories. He looks around to see memories flying around him but he cannot move to dodge them. Normally he wouldn’t but something unfamiliar heads towards him. He cannot move so he simply struggles against the weight of whatever holds him down as the memory hits him.

SV’s ears ring with the sound of chaining explosions. This is a time that has yet to come. He knows it as his surroundings are unfamiliar and the energy he feels while hard to sense is unrecognizable to him. He tries to look around or move but his body is trapped in place. It takes all of his will power but he's able to look up and he sees at first what he believes a glorious sight of beautiful explosions all chaining into each other with a somewhat calming rhythm. Soon they are broken as he sees a sight that makes even his soul falter as a giant looms over him. Its ticking sound that echoes through the chaos is unsettling down to its very core. The giant reaches down to grab him, he tries to break free of whatever's holding him down but he can’t. Just before it reaches him something with what seems to be a katana stalls it then something weird happens.

“SV!” this mysterious person starts yelling his name. Over and over again he knows he remembers them from somewhere but their face is blurred and he can barely see the blade even when he's focusing. Then suddenly he’s being pulled back into the void. He knows this process. SV snaps awake as he looks around to see the campfire completely dead. He shoots up and scans the field for any sight of his friends but there is nothing but the remains of a desolate wasteland. The calm green field that resided here was gone without a trace. He then hears the sound of goop dripping to the ground. As he looks down he sees a wound on his stomach. It’s weird to him, by now it should’ve healed so it had to have been recent, right?

Backlash sleeps beside the warmth of the campfire having finally found peace in its crackling and the silence. Although he would never admit it, the companions he's come to call friends have helped amplify this feeling of comfort. At least until now. Backlash can’t shake this feeling of discomfort in his sleep like he's on the edge of being awoken by something horrible. He tries to use his stored up energy to propel himself away but they just grab his leg and slam him down on the campfire killing the fire. The shattering force from such a blow cracks his enhancements. This leaves shards by the fire as they throw him at Alora before she can get far.

The impact causes her to drop SV and sends her flying into the ground. She had barely noticed before but ever since that thing's arrival all the grass has been completely erased. As if the life had been drained from the surrounding area. The sentinels start to move in on her and SV but Backlash intercepts them. Her energy is turned against her opening a rift to the dream realm. Unknowingly the mystery man had slipped a device onto her specifically designed for this moment. As she's dragged back to her own dimension with the creatures immediately locking onto her energy as the rift closes.

He fell as only his fist was able to get through as the energy from the explosion blew off his arm. He would scream out in pain but he's used up far too much energy to even move. The sentinels move in before all stopping and directing their attention to something else.
