while watching the sun descend,

how long light has left;

will these memories

linger up to death,

or fade ‘fore the end?

Our minds make memories:

Taste, touch, and sight

and downloads impressions

to learn lessons,

and cast vivid imagery

behind eyes,

yet each re-seeing 

leads to their regression.

the whole world fits in one’s head

and that memories

never truly fade.

They, like old friends,

hide behind the errands

and overall busyness

of our day.
