Tom Dupain is teaching Marinette and her classmates how to make pastries.
"I'll let you in on a little secret. I always add cream to the chocolate to make the ganache extra velvety. Then I let it infuse for one minute." He said.
"I love it when your dad comes to class and gives us pastry lessons." Alya whispered to Marinette.
The bluenette giggles annoyingly. "So does he!"
"Urgh! Do they seriously think I'm going to get my hands dirty, cooking like some maid? If I want a croissant, I'd just make Armand get it for me." Chloé voiced.
"He's not making croissants, Chloé, those are macarons." Rose corrects her.
"It's all done with a flick of the wrist. But you mustn't go too fast, or you might splash yourself." Tom utters, mixing the batter with a wooden spoon.
"And soil my Chanel pants? Who's he kidding?" Chloé crossed her arms.
Lily giggles. "You're too much sometimes, Chlo."
"Look at this lovely emulsion." Tom said, showing everyone the batter.
The students all gasp in awe.
"It's beautiful!" Rose remarks.
"Now we need to chill it for half an hour," Tom informs. "Marinette?"
The bluenette quickly turned her attention to her father. "Yes, dad?"
"Could you put this in the school cafeteria fridge for me, please?" Tom hands Marinette the bowl. "In the meantime, I'm going to show your friends how to whip up egg whites."
"Of course." Marinette proceeds to walk out of the classroom with the bowl.
"Don't drop it now, Dupain-Cheng." Chloé sneers.
Marinette glares at her before she closes the door behind her.
"Well, isn't she a ray of sunshine today?" Lily muttered.
"Not really." Sabrina whispered.
"Anyways, how about we throw a party afterschool?" Chloé suggested.
"That sounds like a great idea." Adrien agreed.
"Yeah. A party sounds great." Nino added.
"We haven't had one in a while." Kim commented.
"But can we not invite Marinette?" Adrien requested.
"Why are you suggesting that, Adrien?" Max questioned.
"I'm still a little bit uncomfortable around her. Not mention that her stares keep lingering on me." Adrien answered honestly.
"Adrien, you're taking this waaay out of proportion. She's not stalking you or anything." Alya defended her friend.
"How do we know that she's not?" Lily's brow arched.
"Um." Alya trailed off.
"Who's ready to whip up egg whites?" Tom spoke up.
Before anyone could answer, an alarm bellows loudly throughout the school.
"The fire alarm?!" Rose squeaked.
"Is someone trying to pull a prank?" Alix asked.
"Hopefully not." Mylène prayed.
"I hope it's only a fire drill." Tom hopes.
"Quietly, students. Single file line, please. Just keep moving." Miss Bustier instructed while the students walked out of the classroom in a straight line.
Courtyard
Mr. Damocles is explaining the false situation to the students. "So, some smart aleck had the bright idea of pulling the fire alarm."
Everyone gasped in shock. There is an audible mutter as the students look around to find out who it was.
Marinette nervously looks down, fidgeting.
Lily stands beside Chloé, who is her filing her nail with a pink file. The former notices how anxious Marinette seems to be.
"Somebody amongst us thought it would be funny to waste the fire captain's valuable time." Mr. Damocles frowns.
"Yes, in fact, if you wouldn't mind I-"
"Hold on!" Mr. Damocles interrupted the fire captain. "I want the guilty party to apologize to you."
"Who do you think it was, Marinette?" Alya whispers to her BFF.
"I-I don't know." Marinette stuttered.
"Chloé, do you think it's Marinette who pulled the fire alarm? She's acting so suspicious." Lily told her childhood friend.
Chloé scoffs. "It probably is since she was the only one who wasn't in class."
"Well, confess right now, culprit! I'll let you off easily if you do." Mr. Damocles says.
Marinette gulps, shaking in the spot she stood.
"Mr. Damocles, sir?" Chloé raised her hand.
"Yes, Miss Bourgeois?" Mr. Damocles asked.
"I saw a student leaving the classroom right before the alarm went off. It must have been her." Chloé insisted.
"Really? Who was it?!" Mr. Damocles scowled.
"Let's see if she'll come clean. What do you say, Marinette Dupain-Cheng?" Chloé pointed at Marinette.
The students all gasped, turning their eyes to the hypocrite, who wanted the ground to swallow her right then and there.
"Marinette, do you have something to tell the firefighter captain?" Mr. Damocles folded his arms.
Marinette looks sheepish and embarrassed and tries to hide her face behind her hair. "It... I-I tripped, sir," She stuttered, unable to meet Mr. Damocles' eyes.
"You tripped?" Mr. Damocles's brow arched.
Marinette nodded, "I tripped and accidentally grabbed onto the fire alarm."
"I see. But you still caused a disturbance for the school and wasted the captain's time. So, apologize to the captain." Mr. Damocles ordered.
"But I-" Marinette started, looking up at the principal.
"Apologize." Mr. Damocles interrupted.
Marinette let out a sigh of defeat and then looked up at the firefighter, "I-I-I'm sorry for pulling the fire alarm, sir." She apologized.
"Just don't try and pull this kind of stunt again, young lady." The captain warned.
Marinette slumped her head down, "Yes sir." She promised.
"Mr. Damocles, I must be heading out." The fire captain informed.
The fire captain then leaves, and the principal has everyone return back to their classes.
Le Grand Paris Hotel Lobby
The party is going strong, the students are all dancing, socializing and having a great time. The music is loud, but the mood is great, everyone is having a blast.
Meanwhile, Chloé, Sabrina and Lily were watching them from above.
"This was a great idea, Chlo, you really know how to plan a party," Lily told Chloé.
"Thanks, you helped out too, but I'M the host," Chloé flips her hair.
Lily and Sabrina giggled.
"Mademoiselle should go downstairs and greet her guests in a welcoming manner with a hug and a kiss," Armand suggested.
"You're kidding, Armand! You really expect me to let their cheeks touch mine?" Chloé asked, gesturing to herself.
"Maybe just a hug or fist bump? That should be fine." Sabrina suggested.
"I guess." Chloé agreed.
"Well then, Miss Hostess, we should greet the guests." Lily teased.
Chloé and Sabrina giggled and the three headed down to greet the guests.
"I'm really glad that Marinette is not here." Adrien admitted.
"Good thing too. I can't believe that she tripped and set off the fire alarm. Not to mention that she tried to save her own skin by not saying anything." Nino commented.
"Yeah." Adrien agreed.
"Adrien!" Lily's voice called to him just then.
The Agreste boy turned to her as she approached him and smiled, "Hey, Lily." He and Lily hugged.
"Glad that you came." Lily said before she let go.
"Me too." Adrien agreed.
Chloé came running up before she hugged Adrien from behind. "Adrikins!" She turned him around and kissed his cheeks. "What do you think of me hosting this party?"
"It's awesome, Chloé," Adrien gave her two thumbs up.
"I know, I just wanted more praises," Chloé flips her ponytail.
"Hey there!" Rose greets Chloé by hugging her which Chloé returned.
"Hey, Chloé!" Kim also hugged Chloé when she separated from Rose.
"Thanks for the invite, Chloé," Max fist bumped Chloé when she and Kim separated.
"Hey, Chloé," Juleka approached and hugged Chloé which she returned.
"I hope you don't mind but... I brought Luka," Juleka steps aside to reveal her handsome older brother.
Chloé is taken aback by Luka's appearance. Her heart flutters as she takes in his attractive face as she hadn't seen him for a few days.
Luka smirks at Chloé, his eyes shining with interest. "Well? Aren't you gonna greet me like you did your guests?" He asks, his voice low and seductive.
"Oh, uh, hello, Couffaine," Chloé tries to keep her composure, but she can't help but blush at his flirty attitude. She then quickly kisses his cheeks.
Luka chuckles and kisses her cheeks a little longer than necessary. His lips linger on her soft skin, and Chloé feels her stomach gain butterflies.
She pushes him away, forcing a frown onto her face, huffing while he smiled cheekily at her.
Later on, Nino is DJ'ing. The music is loud and the crowd is lively as everyone continues to dance and have a great time.
"If I may be so bold, Mademoiselle might go and check that her guests are having a good time," Armand advised to Chloé.
"And why would I do that, Armand? They're clearly enjoying themselves," Chloé says.
"Because that's what a good host does." Armand reminded her.
Chloé looks hesitate about her role.
"You can do it, Mademoiselle." Armand encouraged.
Chloé was surprised for a moment and then nodded with a smile. Then she makes her way towards Nathaniel.
"Excuse me, are you enjoying yourself?" Chloé asked.
Nathaniel nodded, "Yeah, I'm good."
"Whoa! All this dancing's made me thirsty. Do you know where the ice cubes are?" Mylene asked.
"I'll get you some ice cubes!" Chloé replied. He heads off to fetch them, leaving Mylène and Lily smiling.
Then Chloé returns with the ice cubes and pours them into Mylène's glass and stops at the right amount. Luckily, she didn't put too much. Chloé was really thankful towards Lily and her mom who helped her with being a good hostess.
On the other hand, Kim gives Nino the 'OK' sign with a wink, to which Nino nods and puts in a new record. The music switches up into a slow romantic one and everyone began to pair up to dance.
"Ooh, I'm gonna go ask Nino to dance." Sabrina excitedly told Lily.
"Get your man~." The Rossi girl playfully says.
Sabrina blushes and hurried over to Nino.
"Chloé," Kim went up to the blonde, who was sitting down. "How bout a dance with an awesome guy?" He bowed.
Chloé is not really into Kim in that way. She has absolutely no interest in his flirting attempts. However, being a person who's trying to be nice, she can’t find the right words to reject him. She looks at him for a few moments, trying to find a tactful way to say, "No thank you," but her mind is drawing a blank.
Luka approaches just then, his dark, attractive eyes making Chloé's heart skip a beat.
"Wanna dance, honeybun?" He asks her in a flirty way, offering his hand to her.
Chloé swallows and takes his hand. "Sure, Couffaine."
Chloé's legs get wobbly as she takes his hand, and she can't help but feel excited. She is also a bit nervous because Luka makes her feel a way no boy has ever made her feel.
Luka leads her to the center of the dance floor as the music starts playing slowly. He wraps his arm around her and pulls her close to him as they begin to sway softly together.
Kim is feeling very jealous and disappointed as he watches Luka and Chloé dancing together. He had wanted to dance with her and now she's dancing with Juleka's brother!
He stares angrily at the pair as the slow romantic song continues to play.
Sabrina, who was dancing with Nino, gasped when she saw her BFF and Luka so intimately close. She smiles before leaning on Nino's chest, making him blush.
"Nino, you wanna have a movie date, sometime?" She boldly asks.
He is taken by surprise as his heart flutters. "W-With you, Sabrina? Anytime," He accepts.
Sabrina smiles and snuggled closer to him.
Meanwhile, Adrien walked over to Lily who smiled when he came over to her.
"Lily, would you like to dance with me?" Adrien asked as he offers his hand to Lily, asking her to dance, he makes the Rossi girl glow.
She takes his hand, smiling, and he walks her over to a vacant spot in the dance floor. He then pulls her tightly against him and starts to sway with her to the music.
Lily blushed as Adrien held her close. She would never admit it but Adrien is actually the first boy she ever dated. In her past life, she was always busy with her family, friends and her job along with her hobbies. Back then, she had decided to wait until after college, she would date. But now, she's happy that Adrien accepted both sides of her.
In the corner of her eye, she could see that Luka and Chloé dancing together. She was happy that Chloé had found someone for herself. For Lily, she wanted Chloé who would accept her. Lily had a good feeling that Chloé and Luka will be a great couple.
Adrien looked to where Lily was looking and saw Chloé dancing with Luka. He smiled at the two. He knew that Chloé deserves someone to see her beyond her riches. He had a good feeling that the two will be happy together. Maybe Luka might rial her in a playful way that might make Chloé blush. Adrien and Lily shared a look, having the same thought, and smiled at each other.
For Lily, she had a feeling that everything will work out for everyone.
