Chapter 7: The moon will rise
It was 3 at the night when Max had arrived with a decoy of Nyx to fool the other jailers , and managed to escape , the next morning she wears a wig and a jailer outfit, she walks around jail cells acting like one of the jailers until it was time , Max and her changed into the housekeeping staffs outfit and went to the kitchen where lunch was being prepared , Max gave her a ear piece and told her to go to Elias brothers room.
In Elias’s brother room:
Marcus: Press these for lunch(leaves the room)
Nyx: yes sir
Max:(speaking through the ear piece) has he left
Nyx: yes , what do I have to do?
Max: In his room there is a really important file which was stolen from the empire Maceidonia , it has details of artillery and bio warfare
Nyx: (starts searching by opening drawers) ok, I cant find it
Max: look under the bed
Nyx: ok (looks under the bed) there is a loose floorboard , I am going to enter it
Max: ok
Nyx: oh there is a lot of photos and files let me just click pictures and take out the important file(starts clicking photos and is able to get the file)
Max : you need to get out of there and press Marcus’s outfit , because he is going to be there in 20 minutes
Nyx: ok
Nyx gets out of the hidden room and starts pressing his clothes she folds them and neatly lays them on his bed.
The conversation :
Marcus: I don’t recall seeing you before(his eyes linger for a second)Who assigned you here?
Nyx: (nervous) what do you mean
Marcus: I don’t remember seeing a maid with purple hair
Nyx : I just started working here a month ago
Marcus :ok
Nyx: May I leave?
Marcus: yes
Nyx left the room and turned on the ear piece , Max told her to rush to the dining table , as Elias was going to be at the table .
At the dining table :
Elias: Pour me a glass of wine
Nyx: yes your highness (pours the glass of wine and adds the poison)
Elias:(sips the wine) I feel dizzy , did you put something in this
Nyx: Time for you to go to hell
Elias: what are you doing here Nyx ? I thought I put you in a cell
Nyx: you thought I was a flower , sure I am but a rose and every rose has a thorn
Elias: stop your poetry , it wont change what you did
Nyx: well this is just the start for , but for you it’s a end of life for you
The guards appear but Nyx’s army already had broken in the palace they attacked each other while nyx stood there with her weapon and smirked and was about to stab him in the chest , he grabbed her hand , trying to stop her but the poison was to powerful he lost his grip on her hand and she stabbed him in the chest , his last words were “bye to the world” , blood ozzed out of his chest , Marcus appeared he looked shocked yet not sad , the fight had ended Elias’s body on the ground blood was all around the place .
Marcus: you killed my brother , but you did me a favour , thanks
Nyx: oh so you don’t love your brother
Marcus: well he was way to controlling and I never liked him
Nyx: If you could turn on your own blood, what makes you think I’ll trust you
Marcus: I am not asking for trust , I just don’t want to end up like my brother
Nyx: ok , so you are staying
(she looks at Elias’s body, then turns away)
Nyx: “Clean this up.”(points to the guard)(starts walking away)
