Suki Akamu is a computer analyst for the FBI. Eventually, she catches the eye of a new coworker who has a fondness for her that isn't mutual. When the crush becomes more than just a harmless crush, and the guy goes on the run and becomes wanted for possibly being connected to some missing women, a female agent takes her into her home to protect her.

It isn't long, however, before Suki realizes that the real danger isn’t her missing coworker, but the very person she was supposed to entrust with her safety and her life.
