Alicia runs into her beautiful doctor, Alyssa Blakely, after losing her beloved uncle, whom she had been living with after breaking up with her long-time girlfriend. The doctor is concerned for her, not just as a patient, but as a person, since Alicia has nowhere to go.

Suddenly caught in the crossfire of a violent shootout, Alicia and her doctor quickly scramble to safety.

But it's too late. Alicia's been hit.

Now the doctor has a decision to make. Does she maintain her position as Alicia's doctor, or does she become something else to the desperate woman instead? Should she choose the latter, there may be a price to pay that the good doctor hadn’t bargained for.
