Misha is an aerobics instructor, and Dale is a detective. After Misha witnesses a robbery and murder, she is placed in the witness protection program and taken in by Dale. The two fall for each other immediately.
One day, while out on a nature walk, Misha slips and hits her head on a rock, resulting in a concussion that alters her behavior. Wanting to help, Dale takes her to see a doctor, only to realize too late that she chose the wrong one.
