Mayani Nolen, who resides with her aged and ailing grandmother after moving from Connecticut to Arizona, gets in trouble with the law. Because she is convicted of a petty crime, she’s now part of Arizona’s new “house arrest” experiment, which means she’ll be spending ninety days not with an ankle monitor in her own home, but with Detective Kaylin Bennet in the officer’s own house. The two experience an instant attraction to each other, yet are wary of one another—especially Kaylin, after all she went through with her ex. Yet, despite life’s turbulence, they can’t help but fall for one another.
