Lieutenant Pedro Alfaro sits in the back of a helicopter. The helicopter flies toward a federal prison. The helicopter slows above the helipad and decends onto it. Once the helicopter is fully landed, Pedro slides open the door. A man in a three piece suit with a tan jacket and red tie. The helicopter’s blades start to slow down. Pedro approaches the man in the suit.
“Good afternoon, warden.” Pedro greets, sticking his arm out for a handshake.
“Afternoon, lieutenant.” The man shakes Pedro’s hand, “How are things with you?” The warden asks.
“They’ve been better, I must admit.” Pedro answers.
“I’m sorry to hear that, but, Martindale is ready in an interrogation room.” The warden states, “I’ll escort you to him.” The warden gestures behind him. The warden starts to walk to a door that leads into the prison, Pedro follows.
After a bit of walking, the warden and Pedro approach a door labelled ‘interrogation room 5.’
“Here we are,” the warden states, “just to let you know, this will be video and audio recorded.”
“That’s fine, as long as it’s locked up tight.” Pedro responds, the warden pulls a key card out and scans it on a scanner by the door. A click sound emerges from the door. Pedro opens the door and enters the interrogation room.
Inside the room sits Adam Martindale, The Promise Keeper, handcuffed to a table in the center of the room. To the left of Pedro is a one-way mirror. Adam wears a orange jumpsuit.
“Hello, lieutenant,” Adam greets, “although, I’m curious as to why my lawyer is not present.”
“I’m not here to discuss charges,” Pedro says, walking to a chair on the other side of the table and sits down, “I’m here to discuss Project Ateitis.” Adam’s eyes widen after hearing that. He regains focus shortly after.
“Why would we need to talk about that?” Adam asks, “That project’s been dead for over a year.”
“The ‘why’ is classified information and none of your business.” Pedro answers, “I just need to know the coordinates for the flying factory.”
“I would, but I want one thing in return,” Adam states, “I want to go with you on this mission so that my people will regain some hope.”
“Fine, I’ll see if I can arrange that.” Pedro agrees, “Now, the coordinates.” He demands, voice growing impatient.
“Why would I memorize that?” Adam chuckles, “It’s on my computer in my office.”
“Of course.” Pedro sighs, placing a hand on his forehead. “What’s your password?”
“I don’t have one,” Adam responds, “I use my fingerprint.” He explains.
“So, I really need to drag your ass to the otherside of the planet?” Pedro sounds annoyed.
“That would be the case.” Adam confirms.
“Awesome,” Pedro states sarcastically, “I’ll make it happen.” Pedro stands up and walks toward the exit. He opens the door and walks out of the room, closing the door behind him.

Elsewhere, Faye lays in her bed with wired earbuds in her ears. She bobs her head to the music she’s listening to. Her walkie-talkie, that sits on a charger on her nightstand, starts beeping. Faye takes out her earbuds and pauses her music. She grabs her walkie-talkie, scooching over to the edge of her bed to reach it, and holds it up to her ear.
“I need everybody at headquarters A.S.A.P., there’s very important information you all need to know.” Pedro announces on the otherside of the walkie-talkie.
“On my way.” Faye responds, among a flurry of similar responses. Faye leaps out of bed, and slips on shoes with out tying them. She leaves her room, entering a hallway. Faye approaches another door and knocks on it. “Isaac, did you hear the message?” Faye asks.
“Yeah, I’m getting shoes on.” Isaac responds.
“Okay, I’ll meet you in the car.” Faye states. She starts to hop down the hall with one foot, while trying to tie the shoe on her other foot.
Later, Faye and Isaac enter a conference room. Pedro stands by a podium near the door, in front of him are two rows of tables. They sit down next to each other at a table. There are some other people sat at other tables, with there still being room for more. Over the next ten minutes, a couple of other agents enter the conference room and take a seat. Once all of the seats are filled, Pedro closes the door.
“Thank you all for coming so fast,” Pedro starts, “I have some important information to share with you. I want to talk to Adam Martindale, who I’m sure you all have seen in the news, and we made a compromise to find an abandoned factory that we believe Sorin Alburo is located. It’s underground, somewhere in Washington, and the coordinates of the factory on Martindale’s computer in Narsia. You’ll be sent to Washington while I find the coordinates, it’s very important that you lay low while Martindale and I get the coordinates.” Pedro instructs, “The plane will land at the downtown airport at six, later today. It will board no later than seven. There will also be hotel rooms ready for all of you when we get there.”
Pedro is met with an array of nods and thumbs up from throughout the room. “Thank you for your time, now you should all go home and pack what you need for the travel.” Pedro backs away from the podium and out of the door, leaving the door open. Everybody gets up and funnels out of the room.

Meanwhile, Sorin continues pouring bailys energy into the battery port. Lights suddenly switch on in the factory. Sorin takes his hands off of the port, the black lines on his arms flash red and yellow. Sorin steps back from the port, tired and dazed.
“Excellent,” Sielos congratulates, “I have enough power to access the mechanical arms, we’ll have a proper battery in no time.” Sielos pauses for a moment, “Rest up, Sorin.” Mechanical arms repel down from the ceiling, holding canisters of a blue and yellow liquid. Another set of mechanical arms grab a metallic box in the corner of the room and move it toward the center. The arms with the canisters place them in the box. The arms then move the box into the battery port. Terminals in the room begin to power up.
“Is the factory on?” Sorin asks.
“Indeed, it still needs to warm up before we’re in the air, which will take a few days.” Sielos answers, “In the meantime, do you still have the files?”
“Yes, I do.” Sorin pulls the drive out of his pocket.
“Good, plug it into the terminal, and I’ll take care of the rest.” Sielos orders. Sorin follows and sticks the drive into a USB port on the terminal. A notification pops up on the screen that a new device has been connected. The files of the robot models upload into the terminal. “We’re almost invincible, Sorin.”

Hours later, Isaac and Faye walk on an airfield at the airport, pulling suitcases on their wheels. Next to one of the hangers is a private jet. They walk toward the jet. A man in a fancy uniform waits by the stairs that lead to the jet.
“Good morning, agents.” The man greets, “I’m going to need to see your badges, just protocol.”
“Yeah, sure thing.” Faye responds, her and Isaac pull their badges out of their pockets. They show them to the man.
“Alright, you’re good to go. Enjoy your flight.” Faye and Isaac put their badges back in their pockets.
“Thanks.” Isaac and Faye replies as they walk up the stairs and enter the plane. Inside the plane, a few of the seats are taken up by I.S.P.F. members. Isaac and Faye take seats next to each other, near the back of the plane.
“You know, I hope this doesn’t take too long. I hate hotels.” Faye comments.
“Yeah, hopefully the one in Washington isn’t too bad.” Isaac responds.
“Maybe if it was a big tourist attraction.” Faye snickers.
At another hanger, Leuitenant Pedro Alfaro and Adam Martindale approach another jet. Adam wears handcuffs on his wrists.
“You know, I really don’t think these are necessary.” Adam states, jiggling the handcuffs.
“Clearly you don’t know how being a prisoner works.” Pedro replies, he pulls out his badge from his pocket as he approaches the jet. There’s another man in a uniform standing by the plane. Pedro shows his badge to the man. The man nods at Pedro. “Also, you really think I would let the one thing restricting your hands off?”
“I think that you should think of me less as a prisoner, and more as a temporary companion.” Adam argues, Pedro puts his badge back in his pocket.
“What is your deal?” Pedro asks, him and Adam walk up the stairs and enter the plane.
“I don’t have a deal. I just find being treated like this criminal to be a little demeaning, especially when I’m helping you.” Adam retaliates.
“You are a criminal.” Pedro’s voice starts showing impatience.
“Well technically, I haven’t had my trial. Innocent until proven guilty, and all of that.” Pedro stops in his tracks and stares at Adam, “Alright, I’ll shut up.” Adam raises his palms.
“Thank you.” Pedro takes a seat in the back corner of the plane. Adam sits on the complete opposite side. Pedro rests his head on the wall and looks out of the window. He reaches into a pocket on the inside of his jacket. Pedro pulls out a picture of his family.

In The Promise Keeper’s office, a year ago, Adam sits in his office chair. Suddenly, Sorin, lacking cybernetic enhancements, bursts through the doors to his office. Adam’s two bodyguards draw their guns and aim them at Sorin. Sorin quickly unzips his jacket to reveal a bomb vest while carrying Sielos in it’s box form in his other hand. The guards back off of Sorin.
“Leave.” Sorin demands. The guards turn to Adam.
“Listen to him.” Adam says, reluctantly. The guards leave the room and close the door behind them. Sorin approaches Adam’s desk. “What do you want?” Adam asks. Sorin ignores the question and places Sielos on Adam’s desk. Sorin presses the button on Sielos to turn it on. Sielos emerges from it’s box form.
“Good evening, Promise Keeper.” Sielos greets.
“What do you want?” Adam asks.
“I don’t want anything, I just want to help you.” Sielos states, “I know how to bring your promise to reality.”
“Why should I trust you?” Adam’s voice turns semi-aggressive.
“Two words: Project Ateitis.” Adam seems intrigued.
“How do you know about that?” Adam asks.
“I’m apart of it,” Sielos reveals, “I’m a Sielos unit, the only one that was fully developed.”
“The A.I. for the factories? Why aren’t you in government hands?”
“I had a little help from my associate,” Sielos answers, “and I would like some help from you.”
“Why would I help you when your ‘associate’ is threatening the entire building!?”
“We’ll let you think about it, but just know that this may be your only chance to fulfill the Promise.” Sielos states, “Let’s go, Sorin.” Sielos turns back into his box form. Sorin grabs Sielos and leaves the office. Adam deeply ponders on what Sielos said.

In the present, Susan sits on her couch in her apartment. By her legs is a suitcase. She feels a vibration from her phone in her pocket, and it plays a generic ringtone. She takes out her phone and sees it’s a call from Anna. She picks up.
“Hello?” Susan greets.
“Hey, Susan,” Anna responds, “I’m heading towards your place now, are you ready?”
“Yeah, I’m ready.” Susan answers.
“Okay, good, I’ll see you soon.”
“See you.” Susan hangs up and exits her apartment. She closes the door behind her and heads down the hallway.

Hours later, in Narsia, Pedro and Adam ride down a street in a black SUV. Pedro drives the car while Adam sits in the back. They approach a government building. Pedro pulls the SUV over. Pedro and Adam get out of the car and walk toward the building. The government building is heavily guarded by men in suits. Pedro takes out his badge as he and Adam approach the men.
“Good Afternoon, can I help you?” One of the men asks.
“Afternoon, I’m a lieutenant with the I.S.P.F.,” Pedro answers, showing his badge, “my companion and I need in the building.”
“Is that Adam Martindale?”
“Yes, it is, we need to access his computer for a case.” Pedro puts his badge away.
“I see, you can go in.” The man states.
“Great, thanks.” Pedro responds, him and Adam walk up to the entrance. They enter the building. The interior is untouched from the way it normally is, surprising Adam.
“I can’t believe they didn’t mess with anything, at all.” He comments.
“Well, somebody’s going to have to take over when you’re behind bars, so that could be why.” Pedro responds.
“Who’s to say I’ll end up behind bars?” Adam retorts. Pedro doesn’t reply. They walk through the building until they make it to Adam’s office. They enter the office. “Good, the computer’s still here.” Adam walks up to his desk and sits in his chair.
“Get the coordinates, quick.” Pedro orders.
“Relax, I’m on it.” Adam responds, he feels the side of his desk until he feels a number pad. Adam inputs a code and logs into his computer.
“I thought you said that your fingerprints unlocked your computer?” Pedro asks.
“Yeah, about that, I lied.” Adam answers, searching through his computer for the coordinates.
“You what?” Pedro’s voice becomes enraged, “So I brought you here for no reason?”
“Calm down, Lieutenant, it’s not like I was under oath.”
“I’m taking you right back to prison after this.” Pedro states.
“Actually, I’m still upholding my end of the deal, so you should still uphold yours.” Adam argues.
“Why the hell should I?” Pedro asks.
“Because, if I go to prison, and a new leader comes in for my people, they may not be as dedicated to the religion as I am.” Adam answers, “This could make my people rebel, which would not be good for order, would it?” Pedro takes a moment to respond.
“Fine, have you found the coordinates?” Pedro changes the subject.
“Yes, I got them right here.” Adam responds, on the computer monitor is a bunch of data for the flying factory, including the coordinates. Adam opens up a drawer and pulls out a piece of paper from it. He also grabs a pen from a container on the desk and writes the coordinates down. After Adam has them written down, he shuts down his computer.
“Okay, I have them.” Adam states, Pedro grabs the piece of paper. He folds it into a square and puts it in his inside pocket.
“Good, let’s get out of here.” Pedro starts to leave the office, Adam follows.

Elsewhere, Isaac and Faye enter a hotel room with two other I.S.P.F. agents. The hotel room is fairly sized, having two queen sized beds in it as well as a bathroom.
“So, who wants what bed?” One of the agents asks. Isaac looks over at Faye.
“We’ll take this one.” Faye answers, placing her suitcase on the bed closer to the door.
“Alright, that’s fine with me.” The other agent responds.
“Good.” Faye starts to unpack.

Later, Faye and Isaac sit in a booth at a nearby diner. Faye has scrambled eggs and bacon while Isaac has a waffle with syrup on it.
“God, I adore breakfast for dinner with a burning passion!” Faye states with excitement.
“Yeah, it’s pretty good.” Isaac agrees.
“Y’know,” Faye leans into the conversation, “I already wasn’t sure about ‘Mr. Promise Keeper.” Her voice turns mocking, “But this: working with someone as shady as Sorin. It really pisses me off.”
“Yeah, you really can’t help but wonder if he’s been like this the entire time?” Isaac adds.
“I doubt it, I feel like he would’ve been imprisoned by now.” Faye debates.
“Maybe, but it’s possible.” Isaac says, Faye nods her head slightly in responds. The two eat in silence for a moment.
“So,” Faye breaks the silence, “how are you feeling? With the Narsia and all?”
“I’m honestly feeling quite good.” Isaac answers, “I don’t feel sick. There’s just a weird numb feeling I get for the Narsia.
“I see, but you can still use it, right?” Faye asks.
“Let me try,” Isaac responds, he curls his hand into a fist and starts focusing. Suddenly, his fist glows blue and yellow. Just as fast, his hand goes back to normal. “Seems I can.”
“Sweet, how hard was that?”
“Alright, now you’re starting to sound like Ms. Fable.” Isaac jokes, Faye chuckles in response.
“Sorry.”
“You’re fine,” Isaac replies, “but, not too hard.” The two continue to eat their food.
“So, an underground factory,” Isaac breaks the silence, “I think there’s something more there.”
“Yeah, not like we can ask the lieutenant.” Faye states.
“True, ‘that’s classified information,’ he’d say.” Isaac agrees, mimicking Pedro’s voice. Isaac and Faye laugh.

That night, Isaac and Faye rest in bed, the other agents in the other bed. Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. Faye gets out of bed and opens the door. There’s another agent on the other side.
“What’s up?” Faye asks.
“The lieutenant just flew in, we’re meeting in the other room.” The agent answers. Isaac, and the agents in the room all get out of bed. Faye and them follow the agent toward the room next door. In the other room, Pedro stands with his arms crossed. Adam Martindale sits in a chair in the corner.
“Welcome,” Pedro greets, “I hope you’ve had a pleasant, relaxing day.” The agents nod. They all walk past Pedro and stand in front of him, giving him their attention. “Well, seeing as I’m here, you all probably know that we have the coordinates to the factory.” Pedro assumes, “The current plan is for me to scout the location tomorrow morning, just to make sure the coordinates are correct.” He explains, “Then, if I find the factory, we’ll make a move that night. Any questions?” Faye raises her hand.
“So, will we be able to map out the assault before we do it? Or, will it be like the Narsian ship?” Faye asks, lowering her hand.
“Seeing as the U.N.’s files were destroyed and N.A.T.O.’s backups were stolen, it’ll have to be like the Narsian ship.” Pedro answers, “Any more questions?” No one raises their hand, “Alright, I recommend you all get a good nights sleep.” Pedro walks over to the door and opens it. Adam gets up from his chair and follows Pedro. Adam closes the door behind him.
“So, am I gonna get a uniform like you and the other ones?” Adam asks as Pedro and him walk toward a different hotel room.
“That never even crossed my mind.” Pedro laughs at the idea.

The next morning, Susan and Anna drive down a street in a red jeep. Anna is in the driver’s seat and Susan in the passenger. Susan rests her elbow on on the window and rests her head on her hand.
“How far away is the hotel?” Susan asks.
“Shouldn’t be too much farther.” Anna answers. They start to pass another hotel on their left, and a forest on their right.. Susan raises her head as she sees someone walking into the forest.
“Slow down.” Susan orders. Anna follows and slows the car down.
“What is it?” She asks.
“I think that’s Lieutenant Alfaro, from the I.S.P.F.” Susan states. Anna looks over at the man.
“I think you’re right.” Anna agrees.
“You think that’s where the factory is?” Susan ponders.
“Worth a shot,” Anna replies, “but let’s check into the hotel, first.”
“Yeah, sounds good.” Anna speeds back up.
Pedro enters the forest, he has a pistol in a holster around his waist. In his hand is a GPS with the coordinates to the factory inputted. He walks around the forest, heading toward the forest. Eventually, he approaches an old looking cabin. He checks the GPS and sees that the factory is located right on the cabin.
Pedro approaches the cabin. He leans his ear on the door, listening in. After he doesn’t hear anyone inside, he slowly opens the door to the cabin and sees no one in there. Pedro looks to his left toward a fireplace and bookshelf. He sees an elevator door next to the library.
“Huh,” Pedro comments, “how hidden.” He approaches the elevator door. “This seems like it.” Pedro hits the button for the elevator and leans against the wall next to the elevator. He draws his pistol, just in case. He hears a ding from the elevator. The doors open, but Pedro waits. After seeing no one walk out of the elevator, he peaks his head around the corner. The elevator is empty.
“Should probably see if this is actually the factory.” Pedro states. He enters the elevator and presses a button. The doors close and the elevator starts to descend.
Inside the factory, Sorin sits in one of the chairs in the control room. A quiet buzzing sound plays from the terminal.
“It seems like we have a visitor.” Sielos states, “Sorin, are you feeling well enough to deal with this?” It asks.
“Yes, I’ll be fine.” Sorin sits up and walks out of the control room. He begins to sprint toward the elevator.
Meanwhile, the elevator arrives at the factory. The elevator doors open. Pedro sees a lit up hallway.
“Yeah, this is it.” Pedro declares, he holsters his pistol. The elevator doors begin to close. Suddenly, Pedro hears a loud, echoing, sound of metal approaching the elevator. Pedro stops the elevator door with his hand. Pedro pulls his gun back out and points it down the hallway.
Sorin aggressively turns the corner, and sprints down the hall. Pedro gasps before shooting his gun at Sorin. Sorin raises his hand, the black lines on his arm glowing purple, and a translucent purple shield forms on his hand. Using the shield, Sorin blocks the bullets. The shield disappears.
Pedro, slightly panicked, puts his hand off of the elevator door and hits an elevator button. He also presses the ‘close doors’ button. The elevator doors start to shut. Just before Sorin reaches the elevator, the doors shut and the elevator moves up. Pedro holsters his gun and presses his other hand on his heart, breathing heavily.
“Jesus christ.” Pedro comments.
Sorin grabs the divot in the elevator doors and forces them open wide enough to fit through. He shuffles through the doorway and into the elevator shaft. He watches, with frustration, as the elevator rises to the surface. Sorin walks out of the shaft and back toward the control rom.
“He got away.” Sorin tells Sielos when he reaches the control room.
“He’ll probably be back, with reinforcements.” Sielos analyzes, “We’ll have to be ready.”
“I’ll be ready,” Sorin responds, “how much longer until the factory can go airborne.”
“Should be by midnight,” Sielos answers, “but it could take a little longer, I’m multitasking to start producing robots.”
“Some help would be good.” Sorin states

Hours later, Susan and Anna wander around the forest, looking for signs of that factory.
“Are we sure that the lieutenant was even looking for the factory?” Susan asks, “It’s been an hour, and there’s been nothing.”
“Yeah, I’m sure.” Anna answers.
“How sure?”
“Like, 85% sure.” Anna admits, “but, there’ll be a clue somekind just around the corner.” She looks back at Susan. When she turns back around, she sees an old looking cabin in the forest.
“Like that?” Susan asks, sarcastically.
“Exactly like that.” Anna responds. She walks up to the cabin, Susan following. Anna looks through the window next to the cabin, seeing it’s empty. Susan approaches the door and opens it, slowly. Anna enters behind her.
“Alright, now we just have to find that secret entrance.” Susan states, looking around in the kitchen. Anna clears her throat to get Susan’s attention. Susan turns around and sees Anna standing by an elevator by a bookcase. “Oh.” Susan says, Anna and her laugh a bit before Anna presses the button on the elevator. Susan exits the kitchen and stands next to Anna.
The elevator doors open pretty much instantly. Susan and Anna take a deep breath before stepping in. Susan hits a button on the inside of the elevator, and the doors start to close.
“You brought your gun, right?” Anna asks, as the elevator starts descending.
“Of course I brought my gun.” Susan answers, sporting a fake irratated tone in her voice.
“Alright, just making sure.” Anna replies in defence.
Meanwhile, Sorin sits in a chair in the control room as the many sounds of the factory surround him.
“There are people here.” Sielos states, abruptly.
“He’s already back?” Sorin asks, standing up.
“No.” Sielos answers as live camera footage shows up on one of the terminal’s screens, showing Susan and Anna exiting the elevator.
“Interesting, I’ll deal with them.” Sorin starts toward the exit of the control room.
“No, I’ll do it,” Sielos interjects, Sorin stops in his tracks, “I want you to be at your peak strength when that man is back.”
“Fine.” Sorin responds, going back to sit down in the control room.
Susan and Anna walk out into the factory, the elevator door pried open from Sorin. The loud sounds and eeriness of the empty hallways worrying them.
“I don’t like this.” Susan states, “Let’s just tell the lieutenant that the factory is operating, just in case he doesn’t know.” She accesses.
“Yeah, I like that plan.” Anna admits, knowing she bit off more than she could chew. Susan and Anna reenter the elevator. Susan hits the button in the elevator and waits while Anna continues staring down the hallway. The elevator doesn’t budge. Susan hits the button again. Still, the elevator doesn’t move an inch.
“Dammit!” Susan exclaims in frustration. Anna looks back at Susan, “We have a problem.”
“What is it?” Anna asks.
“The stupid button isn’t working.” The concern in Susan’s voice grows.
“What do you mean it’s not working?” Anna walks up to the button and presses it herself.
“What do you think I mean by ‘it’s not working’!?” Susan snaps.
“Oh no.” Anna whispers to herself before moving to the other side of the hallway. “It’s okay,” she says to herself and Susan, “we just have to find another way out.” Anna draws her pistol and steps out into the factory. Susan, also drawing her pistol, follows.
After walking down the hallway, suddenly, robotic tentacle-like arms with pincers come out of the ceiling. Susan and Anna shoot at them, but it doesn’t do anything. One of the arms grabs Anna by the neck and starts to choke her. Susan jumps up and grabs onto the arm and shoots it point-blank multiple times. The arm throws Anna down the left hallway. She lays on the floor to catch her breath.
The arm slams itself into the wall to get Susan off before reentering the ceiling, same as the other arms. Susan gets up and runs toward Anna. However, a sliding door closes, making a loud bang as it separates Susan and Anna. Susan hits the door, hard.
“Susan, are you okay!?” She asks, panicked.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Anna responds, her voice raspier than usual.
“Good,” Susan sounds calmer, “how do you think we can open this door?”
“I don’t think we can,” Anna stands up, and picks up her pistol from the ground, “just find a way out, and we’ll meet up again.” Anna promises.
“Okay, I’ll see you later, then.” Susan begins to walk away from the door.
“Good luck, Susan.” Anna wishes.
“You, too.” Susan replies. The duo goes their separate ways.
Elsewhere, Isaac finishes putting on his I.S.P.F. uniform in the bathroom of the hotel room. He grabs the mask and goggles and puts them in his pocket. He wraps the belt around his waist and clicks it together. He exits the bathroom to see Faye and two other agents all dressed up.
“Are you ready?” Faye asks.
“Yeah.” Isaac answers, walking toward Faye.
“Good, because we gotta be in the lieutenant’s room soon.” One of the other agents comments.
“Alright.” Isaac responds and the four of them exit their room. They walk over to Pedro’s room and knock on the door. Pedro opens the door, he wears the uniform with his lieutenant badge on his shoulder and a machine gun around his torso. The room is filled with other I.S.P.F. agents in uniform and Adam Martindale wearing a bulletproof vest over his prison jumpsuit.
“I think that’s everybody.” Pedro states, “Alright, who’s ready to kick some ass!?” Pedro is hit with a flurry of responces, all excited to take Sorin down. “Good, now, let’s go.” Pedro starts to leave the hotel room, the agents and Adam follow. The agents make Adam walk near Pedro, so that they can keep an eye on him.
Pedro holding the GPS in his hand, the agents b-line it over to the cabin. When they eventually make it over to the cabin. Pedro raises his hand up, the agents stop. “Alright,” Pedro whispers, “masks on.” He takes his mask and goggles out of his pocket and puts them over his face. The other agents do the same.
“What, I don’t even get a mask?” Adam asks, also whispering. Pedro ignores the question and enters the cabin, it’s just as barren as always. Pedro looks over to his left and sees the elevator doors by the bookcase. The agents and him enter the cabin and walk over toward the elevator. Pedro presses the button to the elevator, but it never shows up.
“Strange.” Pedro states. Pedro grabs the divot in the door and pulls. Faye walks over to the other side and pulls, as well. They open the doors wide enough for them to get through, showing the elevator shaft. Pedro grabs onto the cable in the elevator and slides down. The other agents follow, one of them brings Adam with them. The agents land on the elevator. Pedro opens the trapdoor into the elevator and removes the ceiling panel. Pedro and the others go through the trapdoor one at a time. They exit the elevator and enter the factory. Pedro is concerned to hear pistons moving and other signs that the factory is activated.
“He’s back.” Sielos announces in the control room. Sorin immediately stands up from his chair. Sielos shows camera footage of Pedro, Adam, and the agents.
“Do you want me to greet them?” Sorin asks.
“Not yet, I’m sending a squad of robots over to their location.” Sielos answers, “Besides, they have an ally of ours with them, and I don’t think they know it.”
The I.S.P.F. agents and Adam walk down the hallway and see that the left hallway is blocket off.
“I guess we’re going right, then.” Faye comments. They all go down the right hallway. Pedro raises his hand up again as he hears banging on metal, the noise approaching them.
“He’s here,” Pedro states, he readies his machine gun, “everybody, get ready!” The other agents make their hands glow blue and yellow, including Isaac, however his are fainter. Adam backs away from the conflict.
“Who’s here?” Faye asks. Pedro doesn’t have time to respond as six white, shiny, robots with glowing ovals on their heads round the corner.
“That doesn’t look like a ‘he’ to me.” Isaac comments. Pedro fires at the robots, the white armor protects them. Faye charges at a robot and punches it in the face. The robot recoils backward a bit before counter punching at Faye. Faye gets hit in the stomach which causes her to hit the wall.
Isaac runs toward the robot. He places his hands on the robot and blasts the robot with energy. The robot goes flying back. The four other agents, excluding Pedro, charge at the robots and start attacking. Isaac approaches Faye and helps her off the floor.
“You alright?” He asks.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine.” She answers. A robot leaps at Pedro, who unsuccessfully tries to dodge, and knocks him to the ground. His machine gun flies out of his arms and out of reach. Pedro raises the robot just enough for him to grab his pistol from its holster. Pedro places the barrel of the pistol on a black section on the neck of the robot, in between the white armor plates. Pedro shoots multiple bullets into it. The robot deactivates. Pedro pushes it off of him and stands up. He grabs his machine gun off of the ground.
“Aim in between the armor!” Pedro advises. A robot approaches The Promise Keeper. Adam makes his left hand glow blue and yellow with the Narsia. With ease, Adam strikes the black spot on the robot's neck with his hand. The robot’s head flies off of its body. Adam goes back to leaning on the wall.
Faye and Isaac sprint toward one of the robots. Isaac charges up his fist with the Narsia and strikes the robot on the side of its stomach area, on one of the unprotected areas. Faye, using Isaac’s distraction. Punches the robot right in the glowing red eye. Her fist goes right through it, deactivating the robot.
“Seems that’s the last of them.” Isaac states, gesturing to the small pile of destroyed robots.
“For now,” Pedro responds, starting to walk down the hallway before turning back to Adam, “come on, Adam.” The Promise Keeper begins to follow Pedro and the agents once more. Eventually, after walking down the hallway, the agents find a storage room. Suddenly, three tentacle-like arms emerge from the ceiling, oblivious to the I.S.P.F.
Pedro looks up at the ceiling and sees the arms. “Look out!” He announces as the arms tries to attack the agents. The agents get out of the way. Pedro grabs one of the arms and makes his arms glow blue and yellow. Pedro rips the arm in two. Another arm sneaks up behind Pedro and grabs his back. The arm slams Pedro onto the wall and pins him there.
An agent throws a Narsian fireball at the arm. The arm lets Pedro go and attacks the agent. Pedro gets off the wall. “How are these things controlled?” Pedro whispers to himself. He starts looking around, eventually spotting a camera. Pedro throws a Narsian fireball at the camera, causing it to get destroyed.
However, the arms continue their attack. One of the arms attacks Isaac. Isaac grabs the arms by the pincers. Isaac notices that there is a tiny camera on the arm. Isaac grabs the camera and rips it off. The arm starts to flail semi-wildly. Faye makes her arms glow blue and yellow and rips the pincers off of the arm.
“These things have cameras, destroy them!” Isaac states. The last remaining arm starts to charge at Pedro. Pedro takes out his pistol and aims at the camera. He fires and takes out the camera. He steps out of the way of the arm and it charges past Pedro. The lieutenant takes out his machine gun and riddles the arm with bullets, destroying it.
“This just keeps getting crazier.” Faye comments, Adam nods in agreement.
“Doesn’t mean we give up.” Pedro responds, “Now, I think it’s clear that we’re being watched,” Pedro looks over at where the camera on the ceiling used to be, “so, we need to destroy any and all cameras we come across.” Pedro gets a flurry of nods. Pedro pays his attention back to the storage room.
“I want all of you, except the Ramos siblings, to stay here.” Pedro orders, Isaac and Faye stand at Pedro’s side. The other agents, and Adam, enter the storage room. “We’re going to find out where those robots are being manufactured and see if we can stop it.” Pedro tells Isaac and Faye, who both nod. Pedro turns his attention back to the others. “Don’t let Martindale do anything.” Pedro orders.
“Yes, sir!” The agents respond. Pedro, Faye, and Isaac walk away from the storage room and down the hallway.

In the control room, Sorin continues to sit at the terminal, multiple cameras on the screens in front of him. He sees a couple of them lose signal.
“It seems that our invaders are more observant than I thought.” Sielos states.
“Should I go in?” Sorin asks.
“No, not yet,” Sielos answers, “we still have The Promise Keeper, after all.” Sorin sees Pedro, Isaac, and Faye walk past one of the cameras. Faye realizes they forgot one and throws a Narsian fireball at it. The footage cuts out.
“Three of them separated from the rest,” Sorin announces, “and they don’t have Martindale.”
“So, the rest are most likely still by the storage room.” Sielos analyzes.

At the storage room, Adam leans on the wall, surrounded by the four I.S.P.F. agents.
“Adam Martindale, The Promise Keeper,” Sielos says over a speaker in the storage room. Adam and the agents look up at the speaker, “it’s been a long time since we last talked. But, don’t think that we don’t still have that deal.” The speaker turns off.
“What was that?” One of the agents gets up in Adam’s face, who looks conflicted, “What deal?” Adam stays quiet.
“Answer the question.” Another agent pressures Adam. Adam’s hands start to glow blue and yellow with the Narsia.
“You want the Promise, don’t you?” Adam asks the agents in front of him.
“I’m not religious, but if it exists, it would be nice.” The agent answers.
“Then get out of my way, leave, spend time with your family.” Adam advises.
“I can’t do that, I know the Promise doesn’t happen this way.” The agent rejects Adam’s warning. Adam sighs before blasting the agent with Narsia, sending him flying backward. The other agents approach Adam. The Promise Keeper runs toward an agent and wraps his handcuffs around his torso. Adam pulls back on his cuffs hard, and pushes the agent’s back with his foot.
A little after, Adam breaks his hand cuffs, and falls to the floor. So does the agent. Adam quickly stands back up and activates the Narsia in his hands again. Adam makes blue and yellow fireballs and throws them at an agent’s head. The agent dodges. Another agent throws a Narsia-charged punch at Adam. Adam dodges the punch and grabs the agent’s head. He slams the agent’s head into the wall.

Meanwhile, the factory noises get louder as Pedro, Isaac, and Faye get closer to the manufacturing area. Pedro opens a door at the end of the hallway. Inside is a room with a high ceiling and a huge robot with similar white armor plating. However, it has a more longer head horizontally and two red glowing ovals.
“Oh, you have got to be kidding me!” Pedro’s voice is very irritated. The robot sees the agents and starts approaching them. “Isaac, you get the back of the left leg, I’ll go right. Faye, you distract it.” Isaac and Faye nod. Pedro and Isaac start making their way to the other side of the robot. Faye summons Narsian fireballs in her hands and throws them at the robot. The robot starts focusing on Faye.
Isaac and Pedro make it to the back of the robot. Pedro pulls out his machine gun and aims it at the leg before looking at Isaac, who is making his hands glow a weak blue and yellow. Pedro walks over to Isaac and hands him his machine gun. “Use this.” He whispers to Isaac.
“Thanks.” Isaac takes the gun and aims it at the other leg. Pedro walks back, makes his hands glow blue and yellow with Narsia, and attacks the part of the leg not armored. Isaac shoots the same spot on the other leg. The robot starts to fall but catches itself with it’s hands.
“The stomach, Faye!” Pedro shouts at Faye. Faye runs at the robot and goes under it. She finds an unarmored part of the stomach and punches it with blue and yellow fists. Faye makes a hole in the stomach. She sticks her arms in the hole and charges her hands with Narsia. She releases the energy and the blast splits the robot in half. The top half flies to the other side of the room.
Faye sighs with relief. Isaac hands Pedro his gun back. Pedro takes it and strappes it around his torso. “Good work,” Pedro states, “let’s keep moving.” Pedro starts walking toward a door on the other side of the room. Faye and Isaac follow.
“How’d it feel using the lieutenant’s gun?” Faye whispers to Isaac.
“It was pretty weird, to be honest.” Isaac responds, also whispering. Pedro opens the door and finds the manufacturing room for the robots, featuring a conveyor belt and other equipment. Isaac sees a small terminal by the conveyor belt. He approaches it and looks for a way to stop the manufacturing. Isaac eventually finds a button that says ‘End Task’ and hits it. The conveyor belt and everything else stops.
“Way to go, Isaac!” Faye exclaims in an excited tone. Isaac rips the screen off of the terminal.
“Now no one can reactivate it.” Isaac explains. Suddenly, the conveyor belt and everything else turn back on, now with no way to stop it.
“Way to go, Isaac!” Faye’s tone turns more sarcastic and annoyed. Isaac sports a distraught expression on his face.
“There should be another terminal around here somewhere.” Pedro assumes, and starts looking around and sees a catwalk above them, as well as a ladder that leads up there. “I’ll check up there.” He states before walking to the ladder. Pedro climbs up the ladder and onto the catwalk. Pedro searches around for a terminal, but to no avail. The lieutenant sees a door and approaches it. He looks through the small window, his eyes widen at what he sees on the other side.
A long room, almost filled wall to wall with robots. Pedro backs away from the door, his breathing getting quicker.
“We need to go, now!” Pedro orders, he starts running toward the ladder.
“What, why?” Faye asks.
“There has to be a hundred robots in the room next to us.” Pedro explains as he slides down the ladder. The three of them start to leave the manufacturing room and head back toward the storage room. Pedro takes out his walkie-talkie and presses the talk button. “We’re on our way back, over.” Pedro says into the walkie-talkie. However, he doesn’t get a response. Isaac and Faye look at each other. “Martindale.” Pedro mutters under his breath. “Come on!” He orders, and starts sprinting. Isaac and Faye follow.

In the control room, the terminal still shows camera footage, a great amount of the cameras have a lost signal.
“The I.S.P.F. attempted to shut off the conveyor belt. I was able to turn it back on shortly after.” Sielos explains.
“By the way, were are those other two from earlier?” Sorin asks, referring to Susan and Anna.
“I’ve been able to see one of them consistently, I can’t say the same for the other one.” Sielos replies.
“What should we do with the one we can see?”
“I’m sending two robots to retrieve her. Couldn’t hurt to have one more ally, could it?”
“No, no it wouldn’t.” Sorin agrees.

Pedro, Isaac, and Faye approach the storage room. They stop in their tracks when they see the body of an I.S.P.F. agent. Pedro runs over to the body. He checks the agent’s pulse, just to be sure. There’s nothing. Pedro looks to the left and sees three other agents’ bodies, as well. Pedro, Isaac, and Faye hang their heads in mourning.
“I know we had a deal,” Adam starts, Pedro and the others look up at him as he walks down the hallway and toward the agents, “but, it turns out I have previous commitments.”
“What have you done?” Pedro asks, in a serious and deadpan voice.
“I tried to talk them into letting me go, but they didn’t listen.” Adam answers, defensively.
“Alright,” Faye starts walking toward Adam, Isaac grabs her shoulder but Faye pulls it out of his grasp, “time to shut this fraud up!” She makes her hands glow with the Narsia.
“Hey!” Someone shouts behind Adam. Faye stops walking. Adam turns around and sees Susan Monroe, aiming her pistol at Adam. Susan fires at Adam. He raises his fist up, makes his fists glow blue and yellow, and forms a small blue shield in front of him. The shield blocks the bullet. Adam lowers his fists, causing the shield to disappear.
“You.” Adam starts walking toward Susan, remembering what she did. Susan tries to shoot at Adam again, but she’s out of ammo. Pedro charges up to Adam. Adam turns around and gets punched in the face by Pedro, without Narsia. Pedro grabs Adam by the neck and slams Adam against the wall. Adam makes his fists glow blue and yellow. He punches Pedro in the chest, causing the lieutenant to let go.
Faye runs up to Adam. Faye makes her fists glow with the Narsia. She throws a punch at Adam, who dodges it. Faye throws another, but he dodges again. Faye throws a third, and Pedro grabs her fist. Adam charges up his other hand with the Narsia and punches Faye. She flies backward. Isaac runs up to Adam, him and Pedro make their hands glow with the Narsia.
Isaac throws a punch at Adam, he blocks it with his own glowing hand. Pedro, seeing that Adam is distracted, punches Adam in the torso. Adam stumbles back before regaining stability on the wall. Susan points her gun, fully reloaded, at Adam. The Promise Keeper, seeing that he’s backed into a corner, makes his hands glow purple with the Bailys. Isaac’s eyes widen. Adam kicks Susan in the leg and grabs her gun. Adam breaks the gun in two.
Faye sits up from the floor, her eyes widen at the sight of the Bailys. Pedro raises his fists and forms a blue and yellow shield. Adam punches the shield, shattering it completely. Pedro gasps before Adam punches Pedro, sending him flying into the wall. The impact knocks the lieutenant out. Adam approaches Isaac, who is nearly paralyzed at the sight of the Bailys. Isaac desperately throws a punch at Adam. Adam blocks it. Faye stands up and starts running toward Adam. The Promise Keeper grabs Isaac by the arms and knees him in the stomach. Isaac grunts and groans from the impact.
Faye kicks Adam in the back of the knee, causing him to let go of Isaac. Isaac falls to the floor. Adam throws a punch at Faye. Faye dodges it, makes her hands glow blue and yellow, and punches him in the side. She punches Adam in the stomach and face before pushing him against the wall.

Meanwhile, the terminal in the control room shows a blueprint of the factory on the screen, with a percentage counting up. The percentage has text above it that reads Engine warm up. The percentage changes from 99% to 100%.
“We’re ready.” Sielos states.
“Do we want to take off now, or deal with the invaders, first?” Sorin asks.
“If the invaders get past The Promise Keeper, then it’s only a matter of time before they make it to us.” Sielos answers, “It would be wiser to begin now.”
“I agree.” Sorin responds.

At the storage room, Faye forms a Narsian fireball, ready to throw it at Adam. Suddenly, the factory starts to shake, violently. Faye steps back, and makes the fireball disappear.
“What is this?” Faye asks Adam.
“The first signs of the Promise.” Adam answers, Faye rolls her eyes.
“You really think that this is the Promise!?” Faye sounds agitated.
“I don’t think that’s for you to decide.” Adam argures.
“Is it really for you to deci-” Faye starts a counter argument.
“Doesn’t it sound nice?” Adam interrupts, “If the Promise comes to pass, your bother could be rid of his problem,” Adam gestures to Isaac. Adam walks toward Faye, who walks backward, “you wouldn’t have to worry about anything ever again!” Faye stops walking, Adam gets in her face, “Doesn’t that sound like paradise?" Pedro, regaining consciousness, laughs at Adam’s argument as he takes off his mask and goggles.
“Is this your idea of paradise?” Pedro asks, dazed, “You really think that pile of metal you’re working for has your best interest at heart?” Adam turns his attention toward Pedro.
“I don’t care if it has my best interest, we made a deal.” Adam answers.
“And you think it cares about it’s end of it?” Pedro retorts, “You let your Promise blind you into following one of the biggest terrorists in the world if we don’t stop it. Did you even bother to ask how it was going to bring the Promise, specifically?” Adam doesn’t answer.
“You may be right.” Adam admits. Suddenly, the factory’s shaking gets way less violient. Adam, Susan, and the I.S.P.F. agents all notice the change. “We must be above ground.” Adam states, he starts to walk away.
“Where do you think you’re going!?” Faye asks.
“It’s about time that I find out the legitimacy of my partner.” Adam states. He leaves the room. Faye sighs before running over to Isaac, taking off her mask.
“Are you okay?” She asks, helping him off the ground.
“Yeah, I don’t know what happened.” Isaac answers, he also takes off his mask. Pedro stands up.
“What are you doing here?” Pedro asks Susan, recognizing her.
“That’s a long story.” Susan responds. Pedro glares at Susan, calling her bluff.
“Well, I think it would be best if you stick with us, Agent…” Pedro blanks on Susan’s name.
“Monroe,” Susan replies, extending her hand for a handshake, “Susan Monore.” Pedro shakes Susan’s hand.
“Welcome to the team, Susan.” Faye greets, Susan smiles in response. Isaac, Susan, Pedro, and Faye all start to walk down the hallway.
“Oh by the way you haven’t seen another woman in here, have you?” Susan asks Pedro. Faye raises her hand and points at herself. Isaac stares at Faye with a serious expression. Faye puts her hand down.
“No, but we’ll keep an eye out.” Pedro assures.
“Thank you.”
“Also, make sure to point at any cameras you see.” Pedro orders, “It helps keep our position a little more secret.” Susan nods.290Please respect copyright.PENANAq32PvJw9DI
