Damn, she's fast. Streaks of light could be seen as the princess ran circles around the giant's body. Vera and The Crow took the villagers to safety, at least tried too. Her mutt on other hand was assisting on the ground attacking the lower half.
As the other giant emerges from the forest like the first one but with tusks on its face and mud oozing from its body. The giant stops in front of a villager boy holding a wooden sling shot which he tried to shoot at his intruder.
Don't....
He's not our problem.

I tried around. Trust me. Not. Our. Problem. I grab my head "Shut up" I demanded silencing my brother for now. I ran in a hurry engulfing myself in a shadow and appears in front of the boy before the giant could crush him. A shield of sorts forms from out of my back protecting us. Guess I chose a good distraction.
The little boy and I made contract. He steps forward placing a hand on my cheek. All he did was look at me.
Not one word. Up close, his small antlers were noticeable. He smiles. I understand now. Just by a look in his eyes.
"Whatever... Go to your mother, she's waiting" a woman in a panic appears from out one of the houses. The little boy runs to her.
I adjusted my stance getting ready to push back as the giant began to laugh. "Now I am mad" I made clear playing along. In one swift motion, I use all my strength to push the giant's foot off making it stumble. Out of nowhere, a whip sword extends out wrapping around the giant's neck. I glance over to my left seeing Vera in possession of the weapon and yanks the whip back causing the giant to fall back. A loud thud vibrates through the ground. Vera jumps up on the giant's chest. As I run towards them, the Giant swung its right up quickly hitting me. The impact cause me to collide into one of the homes through the wall. A group of people started yelling.
"Ugh" I groan rolling over off my back and stood up. I've had worse.
"Mav. Do it now "Vera commands for some assistance. Man really? Two shadows poke out from under the giant's arms and wrap around his wrist holding it down. Vera glances over at a couple villagers that were out still. This won't be pretty. The mother of the little deer boy covers his eyes with her hands. I step forward in the new threshold watching. Vera glances down at the giant, "I'm sorry for this but you know it's not personal. May the gates be with you? " She steps back causing the whip blade to tighter and pops its head off. It rolls a couple times before coming to a complete stop. Kylian throws electric currents with his sword at the giant that Sloane was on. It left the giant stung. This result gave Sloane time. As if she needs it.
Vera smiles taking handle of the weapon back into her hand. Something must be wrong with her. Sloane cuts the hand that is holding the blade which gave Kylian time to retrieve the body. Once that was done, Sloane's final blow: a sword of light into the giant's jaw killing him instantly. As the body made its way down, she held onto her handle until its body met with the ground.
I stood there watching her. How she moves effortlessly. How this type of thing brought her enjoyment but in eyes held a hint of sadness. How...
We are completely different.
