這是一個由憾字作主軸，以遺憾、缺憾、震撼交織而成的故事。

在偏遠台灣山區，一對夫婦 + 一群有特殊殘障的孤兒。

丈夫是啞巴，妻子曾是香港社團老大情婦，後因與保鑣戀上而被老大追殺，最後逃至台灣山區，遇到好心收留的果園主人及農夫啞巴，受到啞巴呵護善待，之後下嫁，遂收養被遺棄的殘障兒童。
然而，保鑣秉持自己那份執念打拼多年，最後仍想找回曾深愛的女人，卻不知自己突然的出現，會為平靜的一家，帶來不一般的震撼。
