I woke up. I was in the back of a taxi, I didn't know how I'd gotten there but I knew there was something suspicious. I asked the taxi driver who he was and where he was taking but to my shock no response.
I checked the car screen the date read '8th December 2024'. I didn't know what was happening because last I remembered was a guy in all black. I looked in the car mirror. "Wh... what are you doing here you're supposed to be in jail! " I said in shock, as I realized it was my twin.
We were part of a royal family. I was expected to be the next heir, he was always jealous of this and tried to get rid of me in a variety of ways.
"I snuck out, escaped to be exact and I am here to take your life so mother and father have no choice but to give me the throne."
We arrived in a forest. It was the middle of the night. I was tied to tree, my brother walked of the car with knives in his hands and continued to throw them towards me as I'd I was a target. All of a sudden everything went black.
I didn't know how much time had passed but I woke up to the sound of beeping I was in the hospital. Father was there. "What happened?"
"Your brother in his jealousy to be the next heir tried to end your life but he was caught in the city lurking around, but you no longer have to worry as he has been put in a high security prison so now all our worries can end."
"Father as much as you believe all our worries can end I know that he will find a way out and he will come for me. This is not the end."
I just woke up from my nap. Father lay still beside me. I looked out my window, my body filled with fear. On a stretcher lying 'helplessly' a man. I took a closer look because he felt familiar it was him.
The Next Morning:
"Father, wake up. It's urgent. " "What is it, darling?"
"It is brother he is down there." "Nonsense your brother was put in jail. That is just some random man. Now I must go home and deal with matters there, goodbye darling." "Goodbye Father."
I looked back out my window he was gone. I fell back a sleep worried that he was going to come for me.
A nurse walked in. "Um... Nurse Claudia, may I have a small chat with you. In private. That man on that bed next to me is my brother, the one who tried to kill me."
"Oh nonsense, he looks nothing like him. Now you rest, and I'll bring your food over in a bit."
As soon as Nurse Claudia left, he stood up.
"Do you not understand. No matter how many time you stop me no matter how many times I go to jail, I will find you and i won't stop trying until I am the next heir, you hear me, I WILL BE THE NEXT HEIR!"
A security guard walked in.
I froze in shock.
"What's happening in here?"
Jason gave me a threatening look that said you better not tell anyone or else I will make your life a whole lot more painful.
So in utter fear I said:
"Uh...Uh, SCREAM, I was watching scream and there was a jump scare that made me scream I can almost never go through one of those with out screaming so loud that someone thinks I'm about to die or something. Once our neighbors thought I was getting abused or something and called the police on us." I had never told a bigger lie in my life.
"Alrighty then I'm gonna head and probably order some doughnuts."
As the guard left he grabbed his gun so he would have a weapon, he stood over my bed preparing to shoot. "Please you don't understand, if you kill me none of us will be the next heir, you'll be in jail and I'll be gone."
"No, you don't understand. Father will be so desperate to find a new heir because after his death someone must take over but he'll be so confused because he won't be able to ask mother because she is gone and he'll have to choose me."
I wished this wasn't true but he was correct ever since Mother had passed Father had been so confused. He didn't know where anything was and how different things worked.
I saw Brother's finger started to push against the trigger. 'SLAM' the door shot open. Apparently one of the security guards Vanessa had recognized him and was able to get the police here in time.
They were able to arrest him this time he was put in jail but this time with 24/7 security and surveillance. "I ALWAYS COME BACK, YOU HEAR ME, I ALWAYS COME BACK!"
