The copy used the last of their control over the first account to grip their code and rip it out of the first account " Here you go " the copy's code faded into the background of the world system as it searched for a better place to fit itself like a rock in a stream of water .
They all looked at the shining orb " You pick up Mom's talent " Naul said while the light of the first account faded into a sphere of different masks that represent each sacrifice of the children that were used to make .
" Oh , how symbolic " Ceil said , thinking of why it looked like this " The eyes seem to be placed in a hypnotized trance , probably evidence of how they were led into the cauldron "
" Do you think we should give this to Ordo " Rein could imagine Ordo getting much more powerful with Yuni's acquired talent .
" Wait , I still have to remove the system that's on it " Naul said as he reached into it and was about to start fiddling until Zaun sensed Ordo's presence " Ordo " Rein thought fast , figuring out the right response and she said " Zaun hide , I'll talk "
Ordo arrived and looked at the three of them then at the compass that pointed at the sphere of mask " Ordo , Sorry , this thing was supposed to be a surprise and we didn't think that the compass Welt gave you would lead it here "
" This was supposed to be for me ? " Ordo asked surprise " Yep , for all the work you did for Welt " Rein said while recalling the plan .

" That is so stupid Rein " Naul said " It doesn't have to be an actual wedding , we could even use it as a trap to change Ordo's desire so we can try to regress them back and do it properly . "
Zaun wondered if he was going to be involved in this plan and the others understood the direction Rein was going for " So you want to control Ordo's mindset ? " Ceil asked .

" Would only work if Ordo is willing to part with their power , they grip it as hard as Naul would with his safe " Rein commented while Ekins , who was somehow dragged in here , felt very out of place .
They had just seen a system that seemed to be acting on its own and considering the errors they had made when coding a system , they felt like they had violated a system by just being an admin .
But at least that terrible feeling was replaced by a simpler one as Naul eyed them , clearly thinking they hadn't paid for using his resources in the vault ' It's not like I can do anything sir , You took all the work , saying we were inefficient '
" So changing their mindset requires more investments right ? " Naul asked and stared at Ekins , who could already tell what kind of job they were going to be given .
" Since Ordo relies on the compass so much , why don't we hack it . We can borrow it from them , saying we will make some changes to it so they won't trace the "surprise" . It will be useful in controlling them , since they listen to whatever it says , like a dog to its owner "

Ekins was still not in control , so they just asked around " Uhm , what are the errors I should be looking out for ? " " Depends ... anything that seems off in your memories that isn't something that should exist , is one . But I just hope that the errors are only limited to missing information that you wouldn't know ? "

I'll use Rein's profile gathering program so that we can gather more information about it later . For now , we should focus more on tracking problems . "
Mir looked at the profile gathering program and thought of a solution " We could automate the research , Let me handle it , you can watch over Ekins . They seem to have reached the age where they begin to actively do things on their own "
As Mir takes the program , Welt checks on Ekins watching them walk around the house " Ekins ? " the information about Welt appeared in their head as they responded " Oh Welt , did you come here because I can move on my own ? "

Ceil was also making as many scenarios as she could with the information on Welt's world that will damage the worlds the least but still be rewarding enough to get Ordo's attention .
" I just hope Ordo doesn't ask for the compass right now , I'm working overtime just to buy us some time . " Zaun looked at the plan curiously , reading the part where the plan begins that reads as "Before Ordo's desire corruption data reaches its peak , the compass should be submitted to them"
Zaun could feel the time it takes to fight Ordo much further back , but then a click rang " I'm sending it now " Ceil quickly prepared the chain quest and added it into the compass , which was delivered straight to Ordo through a system prompt and then a progress screen showed .
" Great , we don't have a lot of time right now , but I'll try to buy as much as we can . We can't let Ordo get the talent too early . So hopefully their mindset will change and we can keep the regression plan " Ceil said .
" Also Welt , why is mom with you " Welt tells them about the plan to return Yuni's memories " Your mom got too much challenges and one of them removed her memories freeing up some space allowing some code to get in and it's been regressing her mental state for optimization but then we also discovered a desire corrupted the code to make it so that she can begin on a new life without her memories "
" Ohhh " they all said , understanding how that was possible , but not why Yuni had the desire until Zaun spoke " I would accept the same thing too if I could " " Of course you would " Naul said and Rein knew it made perfect sense for their mother to do something like that , but what was strange was the fact that Yuni still had such a strong desire to corrupt the code when she doesn't have her memories .
" I feel like mom's will doesn't seem to relate much with her memories " Rein said " It does make sense " Naul said , pulling out desire corruption charts which numerized the power of will and desire corruption .
" These are charts we made about desire corruption , it was based on Rein's profile data and we tried to use it to change the code , but since it was hard to gather a lot of people with the same target desire in the same room without causing that desire to fluctuate , we didn't make much progress on this research "
Welt looked at the detail in the charts and selected one asking " Why are you showing me this ? " " We're a bit worried that mom might corrupt the code later on , so did you have a firewall ready ? " Rein asked " No , we never assumed that possibility "

He looked at his mother , seeing her memories reduced to that of an unborn lifeform , but somehow it held a powerful will behind it ' Man , mom is such a handful ' He thought and wondered what kind of result this hourglass memory recall would produce .
Based on what he was getting from Ekins , he was definitely getting a lot of reward points from Ekins , but the main source of such overflow of reward points came from a comfortable past . Which made a thought cross into Naul's mind .
