這是一本以當今香港為背景的心理懸疑小說。故事講述十七歲的李志高被困在名為「強迫症」的牢籠裡。放學回到天水圍嘉湖山莊的家門前，精確的「七次叩門」儀式是他與內心恐懼搏鬥的開端，任何差錯都會引發災難性的焦慮聯想。進門後，反覆七次檢查門鎖的折磨才讓他獲得片刻虛脫的平靜。母親周海宜的嘆息與提醒服藥，父親李國財在書房中涉及「貨櫃」、「海關」、「打點」與「穩陣路線」的嚴肅通話，都加深了他的疏離與不安。父親臨行前那複雜難辨的一瞥，更在他心中投下陰影。當他試圖在整潔如堡壘的房間裡喘息時，一本《中國語文》教科書封底ISBN編號末位的「6-7」，卻成了壓垮駱駝的最後一根稻草。這個「不完美」的數字組合，在他被強迫症扭曲的認知裡，瞬間與父親可疑的生意、家庭的不理解、以及自身無盡的恐懼連結起來，形成一場毀滅性的精神風暴。李志高被困在無解的焦慮與儀式中，而家這個本應是避風港的地方，似乎也隱藏著不為人知的秘密與風暴。
