📖 Prompt:

Write a serial fictional story that follows a wealthy young woman who defies her parents to marry a humble, Christian farmer from a lower-class background. Her family—concerned with status and appearances—insist she marry a man from their social circle. That suitor, though wealthy, is trapped in a destructive life of drugs and alcohol.

Pressured to comply, the girl runs away—only to return home and discover the death of a beloved, faith-filled family member. Devastated, she questions God. But through trials and unexpected grace, she begins to seek Him anew.

Her journey deepens when she travels somewhere sacred with her unapproved boyfriend—her parents secretly follow, only to be confronted by a life-changing experience that leads them to Christ. In the end, redemption touches every heart, and the girl marries the man she truly loves.

  • Open to all genres—romance, drama, faith-based fiction, or literary storytelling

🖊️ Judging Criteria:

  • Emotional resonance and narrative depth

  • Integration of spiritual themes

  • Creative use of setting and dialogue

  • Character development across chapters

A regal young woman in vintage lace stands between two paths: On one side, a wealthy manor with roses and shadows; On the other, a humble farmhouse bathed in morning light and a cross in the distance. In the background: a faded image of a grieving figure at a grave, light breaking through clouds above. Soft scripture overlays the sky: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…" – Psalm 34:18
