在這該死的世界中，總會出現幾個放棄求生意志的人。

當他們死亡與現實之間因飄渺不定時，腦中浮現出一個理想中的自己，使自己成為那個人，然後重生。

理想中的自己無法被社會接受，所以便成為所謂的「中二病患者」。

然而，他們對自己的腦中設定深信不疑，甚至能觸發各種巧合，以向他人證明自己的力量。

故事的主角，林儀賢。在陰錯陽差下，遇見一名「病患」。

在被她整得疲憊不堪後，卻被一隻貓告知，自己被選上，需要幫助「病患」痊癒，否則世界可能滅亡！？
