偉強算是多筆劃的名字，在五、六十年代的華人社會，還算是甚為普遍。但到了千禧世代，這名字感覺跟時代有點脫節。

怎會有普遍的名字出現？在今天小子化世代，的確甚為費解。上世紀適逢戰亂世代，的確打亂人不少人的規劃。受正規教育是奢侈品，但智力與常識又不是從學校得來。替子女取個普遍、看似平凡的名字，箇中一定有理由。

陳這個姓氏，在香港也是普遍。所以陳偉強就如他爺爺的期望，一直低調地過著安全的日子。
