任知秋在2025年2月26日的凌晨從惡夢中驚醒，發現自己竟回到女友康妤喬遭遇車禍的「死亡當天」。他原以為是夢，卻被冰冷的機械音「3742」告知：這是一場「遊戲」——他必須在三次機會內逃脫車禍的命運，否則將徹底死亡。  


每一次輪迴，任知秋都拚命改變選擇：說謊、阻攔、提前守護……但康妤喬仍以不同方式慘死。絕望之際，3742提供「新世界」選項。他點下「進入」，竟穿越到古代捉妖世界，手握火焰長劍，而康妤喬成了他的夥伴。兩人聯手斬殺山魈後，任知秋再度「醒來」，卻發現自己躺在精神病院病床上，被診斷為「思覺失調症」。


現實與幻覺的邊界徹底崩潰——究竟車禍、妖怪、3742是妄想，還是醫院的「康醫師」才是虛假？當病房編號「3742」與幻聽代號重合時，任知秋陷入最後的掙扎：該相信哪一個世界才能拯救所愛之人？
