I just published a stand-alone audiobook versions of End of Days, one of the 13 short stories in my latest short story collection. And I’m making it available free through the end of June through Google Play Books at https://play.google.com/redeem?code=ZLXA831AWMQBK. Like all of my books and audiobooks, it is available through various booksellers nationally and internationally, but only Google Play at the moment permits me to have promotional deals and even free audiobooks for a limited time. Others do not or offer as much flexibility in setting suggested prices as low as I prefer.

My taste in reading and writing science fiction is very broad and eclectic and is clearly reflected in my Echoes of the Mind’s Eye collection (and previous collections in which my short fiction was featured). The collection features “hard” and “soft” science fiction, SF with metaphysical and psychological themes, mild horror, humor, and even one paranormal tale (unusual for me as a writer but not as a reader).

I refuse to pay for advertisement or reviews of my independently produced books which is a virtual necessity for independent authors. So I offer free promotions from time to time hoping to find new readers who may enjoy and perhaps buy one of my other books. This short story poses a novel theory as to the role of black holes in both the creation and destruction of an endless number of universes that coexist in an incomprehensibly complex multiverse. It is a cautionary tale about the arrogance of scientists who are the cosmic equivalent of amoebas attempting to discern the secrets of the universe by thoroughly examining within the limits of their perception the drop of pond scum they inhabit. It is also a cautionary tale about the ability of determined, creative terrorists to begin the process that will lead to the destruction of our corner of the multiverse by the creative use of materials at their disposal.
