In the shadows, I'm chained to the edge of a cliff I can't see.

No one knows I'm here; all I know is I'm dead.

Footsteps echo and voices in the dark I can barely hear,

Evil laughing,

Screams for miles and tortured souls as far as the eye can see.

No relief; I'm here for eternity!

Cages swinging from left to right,

Hanging from chains seventeen miles long,

With burnt skeletons screaming inside.

The Devil's laugh as I know I'm dead!

All pain, night and day, but I can't tell the difference; it's just all the time.

Hours turn into centuries.

How can this be?

Why am I here?

Killed so many, but they deserved to die.

Didn't know a one, just one after another.

Dropped to the ground, just a single shot.

Chains covered in my own blood, beaten all the time.

Why won't they let me die?

A million degrees with the temperature rising,

With flames a mile high.

I can't escape; neither can you.

I can't move, just scream.

I'm sorry now, but it's too late.

I see a bridge below me with demons standing there,

Throwing spears at the souls in lava lakes below them.

Never-ending screams, but not a dream—

Only a land of nightmares that came true.

Here forever, it seems like a day with no tomorrow.

Crimson chains hold me still; I cannot move.

"Just hold still," the Devil said, "while we torture you.

You are here, and you belong to us.
