In the heart of Kingston, where the trees grow tall.

Bellevue stands in a dreary backdrop .

With walls that are scratched and etched by the ones who dwell there.

No silence,just screaming!

Night and day without ceasing

Can you hear me?

Tormented voices cry for compassion

A battle fought in their own minds

The medicine and beating aren't enough

A sentence given with no reason or a end

"Can you hear me ?"

Standing in corners and standing against walls that won't give.

Overcrowded and dirty will no sunshine through broken windows.

Only straight jackets to keep us warm.

Can you hear me?

No peace just screams, paradise is wasted on me.

I have no sanity!

All skies are gray in here.

Can you hear me?

Healing hands slap my face and tell me I'm okay!

Not the same as my mother's loving arms.

Why did she leave me here?

Can you hear me?
