其實我散文寫的比較好，在台灣唸書的時候寫作文和周記練出來的。我小時候就喜歡閱讀，當時教室後方老師都會放書本，內容不限小說也有漫畫，週末也會去書店看免費的書。

到國外後，多半在唸書和工作度過，博班時有空就開始寫小說，將早期寫在紙上和筆電上的小說拿出來重寫貼在網路上。寫小說啟蒙算是台言作者們和翻譯成中文的外曼。我寫的小說是純粹想像出來的，如跟現實有雷同，純屬巧合。

寫作算是舒壓，興趣使然就算沒有大賣或成名也是斷斷續續的寫，我認爲寫作算是一種老少皆宜的活動，可以一直寫到不能寫。
