Le Grand Paris Hotel
"Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Bourgeois, we're able to have our work experience field trip today at the Grand Paris luxury hotel. Each of you will get hands-on experience with one of the many jobs here at the hotel." Miss Bustier explains.
Just then she saw Ivan and Alix having a pillow fight. She sighed. "You'll be graded on your effort, which will affect whether you pass or fail the class."
Ivan and Alix froze while Sabrina and a worker for the hotel giggled.
Hotel Lobby
"Do you have Marinette and Alya on your list, Mr. Bourgeois?" Miss Bustier asked the mayor.
"It doesn't look like it." André responded, observing the list.
"I bet I know who helped Daddy make the assignments." Alya said to Marinette, who was staring obsessively at Adrien.
The bluenette stalker snapped out of her trance when she saw Lily talking to the blonde behind the receptionist desk while Chloé was also behind the desk looking at herself in her Chanel compact mirror.
Marinette scoffs. "Of course Lily gets to spend an entire day with my perfect Adrien. Urgh. This is gonna be the worst day ever!" She scowls.
"There must be an oversight." André comes to a conclusion, still looking at the list.
"Daddy!" Chloé hollered just then, waving a sheet of paper around.
André goes over to his daughter and takes the sheet. "Thank you, sweetie. Ah, oh yes! Alya, you're going to be... sorting trash at the main dumpster."
Alya gasps in outrage.
"And Marinette. You will be..." André paused when the doors suddenly opened.
Jagged, his crocodile Fang, and Penny Rolling walked into the lobby as Kim struggled to roll in the luggage of the rockstar.
"Hey! That's-" Marinette's eyes widened.
"Jagged Stone!" Lily cut the bluenette off, rushing up to the man with a big grin. "Hi, Mr. Stone! Welcome to the Grand Paris Hotel! I'm the temporary hotelier of it, I hope you don't mind."
"You're going to be running the hotel?" Jagged asked, looking at the brunette with a raised eyebrow.
"Why? You think a fifteen-year-old can't run a hotel by herself?" Lily puts her hands on her hips and smirks, raising an eyebrow.
Jagged chuckles. "I like this one, Penny." He told his assistant, "Wait a minute, I remember you. You invited me to your campaign party for class representative."
"That's right." Lily confirmed.
"I'd take it you won." Jagged inquired.
"Yup. And if it helps you put your mind at ease, I know this hotel like the back of my hand since I'm friends with the actual hotelier's daughter," Lily gestured to André, then Chloé. "Which suite would you like?"
"Jagged would like to check into the most luxurious suite." Penny informs.
"And Fang better gets a real bathtub, not a tiny water hole like the one in that hotel across the street." Jagged folded his arms.
"Don't worry Mr. Stone, Fang will have everything he needs," André steps forward. "Including plenty of toys to play with."
Meanwhile, Vincent Aza quietly enters the hotel, Fang sees him and follows him.
Lily notices the crocodile and follows him to see where he's going, only to gasp when Fang led her behind a counter to see Vincent, who is taking pictures of Jagged.
"Hey! What are you doing creeping on Jagged?!" Lily yells.
Vincent gets startled at being called out and he turned to see Lily glaring at him and a growling Fang. He shrieks, scrambling out of his hiding spot into the open. Jagged and Penny both looked annoyed.
Jagged sighed. "Oh no, not him again..."
"I take it he's a... maniac fan?" André guessed.
"You have no idea." Jagged rolls his eyes.
"I feel sorry for you." Lily apologized.
"You get used to it sometimes." Jagged shrugged.
"Remember me, Mr. Stone? Vincent Aza! Just one photo to show everyone in the world that we're best buds! Come on, please! I'm your biggest fan!" Vincent says excitedly.
"I know, you've been to my last thirty-six shows. But we are not friends." Jagged retorted.
'Thirty-six shows?! Marinette probably has the same amount of Adrien's photos!' Lily thought with surprise.
Vincent wrapped an arm around Jagged's shoulder, causing him to become disgusted.
"There! Look into the lens!" Vincent took a picture of him and Jagged just as Penny grabbed his camera.
"Didn't you hear Mr. Stone? You still haven't got it, have you?" Penny manages to throw Vincent out of the hotel. "No photos!" She throws Vincent's camera, but he luckily catches it as the door slid closed. "Good reflexes. Now don't let me see you near Mr. Stone again. Or next time, you won't get your camera back."
With her hands on her hips, Penny walked back into the hotel while Vincent seethes with anger.
Hotel Lobby
"I hope you enjoy your stay." Lily waved at Penny, Jagged, and his crocodile in the elevator before the doors closed.
"Mr. Bourgeois, you haven't told Marinette what job she'll be doing." Miss Bustier reminds.
André checks the list. "Ah, yes. Of course, Marinette. Gopher! I've got a job for you already, Marinette."
"Gopher? What's that?" Marinette wondered.
"I'm guessing it's about as bad as trash duty." Alya frowns.
"Lily, since you're the hotelier for today, take Marinette up to the room Mr. Stone is residing in and asks what he needs. You know what a gopher is, don't you, dear?" André asks the hazel-green-eyed girl.
"Yes, sir," Lily nods. She then turned to Marinette. "Let's go." She then started going upstairs but didn't hear Marinette footsteps behind her.
Instead of following Lily, the bluenette was busy ogling Adrien as he conversed with Chloé.
Lily saw this and sighed. "Marinette?"
The bluebell-eyed stalker didn't answer, she still continued to leer at her obsession.
"Marinette!!" Lily yells.
Marinette yelped and turned to her.
"For goodness's sake, Marinette, pick up your weight and let's go!" Lily urges. She resumed up the stairs and Marinette reluctantly followed after her.
"So what's a gopher anyway?" Marinette asked her rival in an annoyed tone.
"Your job is a Gopher, meaning you're a person who runs errands and does tasks for someone else. That shouldn't be hard for you, since you're a people pleaser." Lily explains.
Marinette growled and then groans. "That sounds boring."
"Well, I didn't make the list." Lily shrugs.
"But your bratty friend did. You didn't even convince Chloé to give Alya and I different jobs!" Marinette had the audacity to complain. "Some good girl you are. You're just acting like a Saint in front of Adrien, but in reality, you're just like Chloé!"
Lily bit her tongue and ignored the blue-haired hypocrite, stopping by the elevator and pressing the button. She couldn't believe that this girl was such a hypocrite since she obviously couldn't realize that she quite a brat herself. Chloé was becoming a better person while Marinette was becoming more and more of a brat.
'Marinette, you are the true brat.' Lily thought.
Marinette seethes with irritation at being ignored. "Did you hear me? Or are you pretending to be deaf? I said-"
"I heard what you said," Lily coldly interrupts as she turns to the bluebell-eyed stalker. "I just don't care because I've had enough of your trash-talking."
Marinette's eyed widened at being called out. "I didn't-"
"The only reason why you were acting like the victim that day was because you wanted to look good in front of Adrien. You didn't feel remorseful for trying to punch me, you only felt ashamed because Adrien saw you." Lily chewed her out.
"That's not-"
"True?" Lily interrupts Marinette, then scoffed. "Oh please, Marinette, save that lie for someone gullible, cause it's not me."
Marinette stammered, trying to come up with a comeback, but couldn't.
The elevator doors opened, and Lily entered. Marinette quietly did as well, making sure to stay far away from her rival as possible.
Lily then pressed the button for the floor Jagged was on and the doors closed.
Jagged Stone's Room
Jagged plays with Fang while Penny is talking to Lily and Marinette outside the hallway.
"Mr. Stone is going to need a new pair of shades for tonight's gig. Red, white and blue with two large Eiffel Towers on them. Can you get that for him?" Penny asked the girls.
"Of course we can! Marinette is the gopher for today. She'll take care of that for you." Lily assures.
Penny nods and goes back inside the room.
"Huh?" Marinette was confused.
"Were you even listening to me?" Lily angrily asked the bluebell-eyed Yandere.
"Uh, no?" She replies.
Lily sighs, exasperated. "A gopher is an employee who goes for anything a customer needs. Anything at all," She goes to an elevator, pressing the button.
"Wait, so you're just gonna leave me to fend for myself? What kind of hotelier are you?" Marinette scowls.
"One who has to go check on the progress of others," Lily steps inside the elevator when it opens before she presses a button. "TRY not to mess your first errand up, because one of the perks of being a hotelier is reporting everything to Miss Bustier." She smirks.
Marinette growls and surprisingly rushes her, causing Lily to gasp. "You bitch!" She yells at the designer.
Fortunately, the elevator doors closed, and the Dupain-Cheng girl banged into the metal before she fell over, groaning in pain.
"Ow." Marinette groaned.
Inside The Elevator
"What the heck? I can't believe she tried to rush me!" Lily exclaimed, still shocked.
Tikki pops out of her purse, frowning. "What a psycho."
"I'll say..." Trixx added, pops out of her purse.
Eiffel Tower
Marinette buy's a shade with Eiffel Towers on them.
She examines the shade. "These should do the trick. Now I can get back to the hotel and hang out with Adrien! Ugh... and that brat."
Le Grand Paris Lobby
"Wow, Chloé, you sure know your way around a desk." Adrien praised Chloé after she sent off a man who checked into the hotel to the elevator.
"Duh, I live here, so it comes naturally." The glam queen flips her ponytail.
Just then Marinette rushed into the hotel and ran to the stairs with a brown bag just as Lily was coming down the stairs.
"Hold it right there Marinette." The designer commands as she hurried past her.
The blue-haired klutz froze and rolled her eyes, turning around to face Lily. "What?"
"What do you have in that bag?" Lily asks.
"Jagged Stone's glasses, wasn't that obvious?" Marinette retorts.
Lily grabbed the bag and dug inside, getting out the glasses meant for Jagged. Her eyes widened. "What. The Heck. Is this. Dreadful. Thing?"
"I already told you!" Marinette snatched the bag and glasses from Lily and stuffed the glasses back inside with irritation.
Chloé laughed just then. "Jagged's gonna hate those glasses Dupain-Cheng!"
"Shut up, Chloé!" Marinette yelled at the blonde.
"But she's right. Penny said that Jagged needed red, white, and blue glasses with two large Eiffel Towers on them. Those shades are basic and not even fit for a rockstar." Lily snaps.
"As if I'm gonna listen to you." Marinette snapped before running upstairs.
Lily let out a sigh, "Well, I can't say that I didn't warn her."
Then Lily ran after Marinette.
Outside Jagged's Room
Jagged inspected the glasses Marinette gave him with a wary gaze.
Lily already knew that he hated them, but Marinette had a hopeful look on her face.
"Where are the Eiffel Towers?" Jagged asked the bluebell-eyed stalker.
"Um... here." Marinette pointed the small Eiffel Towers out.
"This is a joke, right? What are you doing, trying to ruin my career?!" Jagged accused her.
"But, Mr. Stone, the glasses you want don't exist!" The bluenette protested.
"What's the point of being a gopher if you can't get me what I want?" Jagged shakes his head.
"Don't worry, Mr. Stone," Lily spoke up, grabbing the tacky sunglasses from him. "I'll get you those glasses for your show."
"Well, somebody had better since the gopher failed." Jagged rolls his eyes before he slammed the door behind her, causing Marinette to jump.
Lily glared at Marinette before she pushed the rejected shades in her hands, causing her to almost drop it, but she didn't.
"What did I tell you, huh? You NEVER listen, Marinette! Just stay out of the way, I'll get those shades for Jagged." Lily began storming off.
Marinette scoffs. "Good luck with that. Those shades don't exist!"
Lily just ignored her and went downstairs.
Hotel Lobby
Chloé couldn't help but scoff when Lily explained what happened. "She failed as a gopher already? Not surprised."
"How are you gonna get those shades for Jagged, Lily?" Adrien questioned.
"I'm gonna make them myself down at my dad's tailor shop. He has all the materials I need. I'll see you guys later." Lily waves at her friends before running out of the lobby.
After she left, Pixelator crosses the street to the hotel and Kim along with another worked stepped in his path.
"Excuse me sir, can I help you?" The worker asked.
"Look into the lens." Pixelator instructed.
Kim and the worker look at each other before looking into the lens, doing peace signs. Pixelator zaps them and digitizes them, leaving Kim's hat behind. Adrien and Chloé had seen this and quickly duck down behind the desk.
"Photo finish." Pixelator steps on Kim's hat as he enters the hotel.
The two blondes remained quiet as Pixelator walked past them. Chloé secretly took a photo of the villain and sent a text to the employees and classmates about the villain. Both hoped that everyone would get to safety somewhere in the hotel.
Rossi Residence - Lily's Room
Lily took out a case which revealed the sunglasses that Jagged requested.
"You already made them, right?" Tikki asked.
"Yeah. I made them yesterday when Miss Bustier told us about the fieldtrip." Lily replied.
"They look totally awesome!" Trixx beamed.
"I'm impressed." Copper complimented.
"Could make a small pair for me?" Araari requested.
"I'll try. Now, we better get back to the hotel. Pixelator has probably shown up." Lily said.
"Pixelator?" Amber asked.
"Is that an Akumatized villain?" Vitto questioned.
"It's Vincent. He got Akumatized after being thrown out of the hotel. Now he's zapping things with his camera lens." Lily explained and sighed, "I wish I could have prevented it. However, I was too focused on my schoolwork."
Ty hugged her cheek, "Don't blame yourself, Lily. You're just trying to work hard to get a good grade. You're also a student and also a hero. Besides, it would be somewhat hard to talk down to an obsessive fan." He assured her.
Lily smiled softly at the Pink Dolphin Kwami and placed her hand over him, "Thanks, Ty." She thanked him.
"Well, let's get going then." Trixx decided.
Lily nodded, "Right."
Hotel Lobby
Lily entered and looked around, no one was in sight. "Adrien? Chloé? Where did those two go?" She is perplexed.
"Lily, you can search for them later, let's just focus on getting Mr. Stone's glasses to him for now, okay?" Tikki says.
Lily nods and runs off upstairs.
Lily gives the shades to Penny.
"I'll get them to Mr. Stone." Penny says.
"He's... resting." Penny says.
Lily then remembered that Jagged was giving Fang a bath at the moment.
"Okay, no problem. Tell him Lily Rossi designed his shades." Lily smiles.
"I will." Penny nods.
Lily nods as well before walking away.
As Penny closed the door, Lily headed to the elevator. While she did, Pixelator goes up to Jagged's door and knocks on it. Lily heard the knock and quietly gasped.
Penny opens the door and saw Pixelator. "Who are you?"
"Look into the lens!" The villain zaps her.
At the moment, the elevator door opened, and Lily quickly went inside. Unknown to her, Adrien was nearby and went into a supply closet as the doors of the elevator finally closed.
"Tikki, Spots On!"/ "Plagg, Claws Out!" They called out.
The two teens transformed into their hero selves. When they exited out, they were both surprised to see each other.
"Cat Noir?" Lady Scarlet asked.
"M'lady?" Cat Noir asked.
"How did you get here so fast?" Lady Scarlet questioned.
"Secret entrance." Cat Noir answered.
"Okay. Now, let's get that villain." Lady Scarlet decided and called, "Lucky Charm!" She receives a powder compact. "A powder compact?"
"Maybe the villain needs to see his reflection?" Cat Noir joked.
"Not quite, Kitty." Lady Scarlet joked back, "Let's go!"
The two headed off to Jagged's room.
Jagged's Hotel Room
Jagged his brushing Fang on his bed.
"Hey there!" Pixelator approached him. "Time for your photoshoot!"
Jagged jumped on the bed. "How did you get in here? I don't know about any photos. Fang, attack!"
Fang just rolled over.
"See you later, alligator." Pixelator zapped Fang.
"What? Fang? Fang!" Jagged cried out his crocodile's name in anguish. "Who are you?" He asked the villain.
"I am Pixelator, your biggest fan, Mr. Stone. Can I call you Jagged?" Pixelator probed.
"No!" Jagged retorted.
"I want to immortalize you, Jagged!" Pixelator stepped onto the bed and Jagged backed up into the wall. "I'll be your one and only fan!" He got down on his knees. "You will belong to me for eternity!"
Jagged's eyes widened in horror.
"Now, look into the lens." Pixelator was about to zap him when a yo-yo was wrapped around him.
Lady Scarlet then dragged him away from Jagged and threw him into the wall, making him groan. She and Cat Noir quickly went over to Jagged's side.
"Jagged, you okay?" Lady Scarlet asked.
"Lady Scarlet! Cat Noir!" Jagged exclaimed.
"Don't worry, we're here to protect you, Jagged." Cat Noir assured him.
"Thank goodness." Jagged let out a sigh of relief.
"So, you're Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir. I've heard such pathetic things about you two. Look into the lens!" The villain fired a beam Lady Scarlet quickly took out the powder compact. It deflects his beam back towards him, zapping him, causing him except for his glasses to end up in the blank space.
"Huh... How did... Huh?" Pixelator was confused.
"Nice one, M'lady." Cat Noir complimented her.
"Thanks, Kitty." Lady Scarlet thanked him and stomps on Pixelator's glasses, causing the Akuma to fly out.
"Oh no you don't you filthy Akuma!" Lady Scarlet catches the Akuma with her yo-yo. "Gotcha!" She releases the purified Akuma. "So long, butterfly. Miraculous Scarlet!" She throws the powder compact, "Miraculous Scarlet!"
The miracle ladybugs return everything back to normal, bringing those were stuck in the blank space back.
Pixelator is brought back from the blank space and is converted back to Vincent. "Huh? What happened? Where am I?"
"Pound it!" Cat Noir and Lady Scarlet fist bumped.
Hawk Moth's Lair
"Next time I assure you it won't be a photo finish! I won't stop, Lady Scarlet! I'll destroy you!" Hawk Moth proclaimed as his window closed.
Le Grand Paris Lobby
The class was gathered in front of André and Penny with Miss Bustier. Lily was glad that the field trip was over. She had given a magical charm to Vincent which was black colored with light blue spots connected with light blue lines in the form of circuit patterns. Luckily, most of the students and employees were safe when they went into hiding from Pixelator which was thanks to Chloé who told them where to hide. Everyone was thankful to Chloé for her warning them all.
"Thank you very much for this work experience day, Mr. Bourgeois. I'm sure we'll all remember it for a long time to come." Miss Bustier thanked the Mayor.
"So will I," André replies before Penny tapped his shoulder. "Ah, wait, I almost forgot. Jagged Stone's giving a concert tonight, so, I'm giving tickets to the students who demonstrated the greatest effort today."
"Lily has made sure to tell me what wonderful hard work some of you did." Miss Bustier glances at a certain bluenette.
Penny gives tickets to Sabrina, skips Marinette, gives one to Adrien, Lily, Chloé, and then moves on to the others.
"What?!" Marinette grew furious, "I was a good gopher!" She complains.
"Marinette, I saw you doing nothing all day." Miss Bustier calls her out.
Marinette groaned before she glared at Lily, thinking it was her fault she didn't get a ticket.
Jagged Stone's Concert
"Good evening, Paris!" Jagged yells to the crowd as he held up a rock n' roll sign while everyone cheered, holding up the same sign as well.
"It's my first live concert, ever! It's amazing!" Adrien said to Lily excitedly.
"Really? Then you'd better record for memories," She smiles.
"I'd like to dedicate this song to the heroes who saved my life. This one's for you two, Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir!" Jagged announced before he began playing the song on the piano dedicated to the Miraculous duo.
Lily and Adrien were shocked. They would've never thought a popular rockstar would ever write a song about their alter egos in a million years!
Nevertheless, the two smiled and had fun. Lily and Adrien even took a picture, and the latter posted it on his Instagram.
