Marinette's Room
Marinette and Manon are playing with Marinette's Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir dolls.
"Here I am, M'lady!" Marinette says, playing as Cat Noir.
"Glad to see you, Cat Noir!" Marinette says again, playing as Lady Scarlet.
"Of course you are! I'm the cat's meow!" Marinette meows and then giggles.
"He shouldn't say that!" Manon says.
"No?" Marinette questioned.
Manon frowns and shakes her head.
Marinette clears her throat and holds up the Lady Scarlet doll. "This is no time to be goofing around, Cat Noir! We gotta capture the baddies' Akumas before they-" She pauses and looks at Manon. "Actually, what do the baddies want?"
"Uh... we wanna win!" Manon declared.
"I don't know. What do they usually want?"
"Depends. Lady Wifi wanted to reveal Lady Scarlet's true identity and Evillustrator wanted to get revenge on a girl for making fun of him! Then there's the evil Hawk Moth, who makes them bad, wants to take Lady Scarlet's and Cat Noir's jewels from them! Their Miraculouses!"
"And what would happen if he did get them?"
"The bad guys... would win!"
"I know! I know what the bad guys want! We want the Miraculous! Then we'll win! Forever and ever! I'm gonna get your Miraculous, Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir! You-you goody two-shoeses! You'll be super-duper sorry!"
"You won't get our Miraculouses!"
"Oh yeah?"
Both Marinette and Manon battle with their dolls, and Marinette's dolls win.
"Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir have won again!" Marinette proclaimed.
"No fair!!" Manon grabs the villain dolls. "You always win!!" She starts crying.
"Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir always win, and the bad guys always lose." Marinette says.
"But you never let me play with Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir!" Manon continues to cry.
"Oh, don't cry! Of course you can play with Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir! I'll even let you borrow one of them if you want." Marinette offers Manon the Lady Scarlet doll, and she takes it.
Just then Nadja comes up on the stairs. "I'm back, Manon. Have you been a good girl?"
"Mommy! Marinette didn't let me win!" Manon hugs her mother. "She didn't play fair and square!"
"Oh, Manon, you can't always expect to win." Nadja patted her daughter's head.
"Yes, I can! Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir always win!"
"Well, you're right there. But they're superheroes."
"You'll win next time, Manon." Marinette assured the little girl.
"Alright, now give the doll back to Marinette." Nadja grabs the Lady Scarlet doll from Manon.
"NO! I wanna keep it!" Manon snatched the doll from her mother.
"She can if she wants. I told her she could borrow it." Marinette says.
"And that's sweet of you, Marinette, but Manon already has so many toys at home. I wouldn't even know where to put it." Nadja grabs the doll's arm.
"NO!" Manon grabs the doll's other arm and holds it close to her. She gasped when she saw the doll's arm Nadja had grabbed had been ripped off.
"Look what you've done, Manon! Give it to me." Nadja instructed. Manon gives the doll to her. "I'm sorry, Marinette." She apologized to the bluenette.
"Oh, it's nothing," Marinette says as Nadja gave her the doll and its arm. "I can sew it up again! It's no problem, really."
"Oh, thank goodness! Come on, Manon," Nadja grabbed her daughter's hand. "We're leaving. Say goodbye."
"I. Want. That DOLL!" Manon ripped her hand out of her mother's.
"No. You can play with it here next time you come. Come on, Manon," Nadja picked Manon up. "Be a good girl and say goodbye."
Manon cries on her shoulder as she goes downstairs. Marinette waves at the little girl.
"Bye, bye," Manon whispered to Marinette.
Nadja's phone rings and she puts Manon down to answer it. "Hi, Alec. Huh? Didn't I leave it for you on my desk at the station?" She spots Manon running upstairs.
"Uh, I left my bag up there, mommy!" Manon disclosed.
"Go quickly and get it!" Nadja turns her attention back to Alec on the phone. "It's not there, huh?"
Marinette's Room
Marinette opens the box of her DIY accessories.
Just then Manon came back into her room.
"I left my bag here." Manon gets her bag and puts her wand inside it. She then looks at the Lady Scarlet doll in Marinette's hand. "Can I have Lady Scarlet?"
Marinette looks at the doll. "You heard what your mom said."
"She wouldn't know if I hide it!"
"Sorry, but I have to sew her up!"
"Pretty pleeeeease?" Manon gave Marinette the baby doll eyes.
"Oh please, please not the baby doll eyes!" Marinette covers her face, then peeks through her fingers to see Manon still giving her the baby doll eyes.
"Ugh, okay, you can borrow Lady Wifi." Marinette gives Manon the Lady Wifi doll, but she isn't satisfied.
"Can I have the Lady Scarlet doll?" Manon asked again.
"Hurry up Manon! We have to stop by the station!" Nadja's yell was heard from downstairs.
Manon puts Lady Wifi in her bag and zips it up before putting it on her back. "Coming, mommy!" She waves goodbye to Marinette and goes downstairs.
Marinette groaned, throwing her head back.
Rossi Residence - Lily's Room
Lily was working on the dollhouse sized bed for Fobbos, the Spider Kwami. Fobbos was helping as well. She and her Kwamis had worked together on decorating their rooms in the dollhouse. So far, she only had five rooms left. Soon enough they finished making a pillow. For the past two weeks, she had been handing out magical charms to some people who would have been Akumatized like Chloé, Nino, Ivan, Mylène, Aurore, Mireille, Alix, Nathaniel, Max, Kim, Roger, Theo and Mr. D'Argencourt. She had given the magical charms to her parents before everyone else. There were still others, so she unfortunately she had to wait until she had enough power left over.
"And we're done." Lily smiled.
"Wow! It looks amazing!" Fobbos beamed.
Lily placed the spider themed bed into Fobbos's room. The walls were red with black spider webs on them.
"The room's now complete." Lily confirmed.
Fobbos nodded and floated over to the bed and laid down. He let out a sigh of delight, "So comfy."
Lily chuckled at Fobbos's content face. She glad that the Spider Kwami was happy with his decorated room.
Just then the brunette's cellphone began to ring. She picks up her cellphone and answered the call.
"Hello?" Lily says.
"Hey Lily. Are you busy right now?" Adrien asks.
"Oh Adrien! Um I'm not really busy. Why?" Lily questioned.
"I was hoping if you'd like to come to the movies with me. Nino's kind of busy with Sabrina." Adrien laughed through the phone.
Lily chuckles. "It's expected. They're stuck like glue after the zoo incident."
"So pick you up by 10?" Adrien asks.
"Great! See you then blondie." Lily snickers.
"Wait wha-"
Lily hangs up the call and immediately covers her face due to being a blushing mess. "D-did I really called my crush "blondie"?!"
Trixx snickered, "You did."
Lily let out a sigh.
Subway
Alya and Marinette rush down the station to catch the train.
"The movie starts in thirty minutes. Or, we could buy your book first and go to the next showing." Marinette asserted, looking through the movies on her phone.
"Either way girl." Alya suddenly gasped before straightening her posture. "Marinette, nine o'clock!"
"No, there's no nine o'clock showing." Marinette replies, not looking up from her phone.
"Not that nine o'clock! This nine o'clock!" Alya turns her best friend's head for her to see Adrien and Lily chatting as the train arrives.
"Adrien!" Marinette squealed as Lily and Adrien boarded the train. "But what the heck is she doing with him?" She narrowed her eyes.
"Who cares? Come on!" Alya grabbed Marinette and jumped into the train with her.
"Wah!" Marinette fell over a man's luggage and looks up at him. "Sorry!"
Marinette glared at Lily as she and Adrien were talking to each other. "I wonder what station they're getting off at."
"Oh! Maybe they're going to the same movie! Together! Oh no! Don't tell me they're going to be alone! I can't let this happen! There's no way I'm letting that sneaky brat be alone with my Adrien!" She scowled.
The bluebell-eyed girl suddenly gasped and smiled. "But wait! What if we follow them? But then Adrien might think we're following them! Like stalkers! What? Me, a stalker? HAH! Although, I would follow him. You know, of course I wouldn't really stalk him. Oh... who am I kidding?! Lily will ruin everything and just call me out. Then Adrien would never talk to me again." She frowns.
"Haha! Who are you talking to?" Alya inquired nervously.
Marinette presses her face up against the window, smiling creepily.
"So do you wanna watch an action movie? Or a horror movie?" Adrien questioned the brunette.
"Well I wanna watch the new comedy horror movie that just came out." Lily decided.
The new horror movie they wanted to see was Goosebumps. Lily was happy to see that this franchise existed in this universe.
"Okay then. But if you get scared you can hold my hand." Adrien smiles at her.
Lily looks down and blushes.
Just then Adrien and Lily spots Marinette and Alya. Marinette quickly hides behind of Alya as Adrien waved, Alya waved back. Then Alya drags her friend out, forcing her hand to wave.
Adrien confused but nevertheless was quite uncomfortable when Marinette smiled creepily at him. "Why is she so weird?"
"And you're just figuring this out now?" Lily deadpans.
Adrien glanced at her with a sheepish smile.
Suddenly, a bright white and blue light began consuming Alya's body.
"Wha, what's going on?!" Alya panicked.
"Alya!" Marinette shouts.
Meanwhile, Adrien and Lily witnessed Alya transform in shock.
The bright light vanished in front of the bluebell eyed girl stood Lady Wifi.
"Marinette! Give me those Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir dolls!" Lady Wifi demanded.
"Lady Wifi?" Marinette was confused.
"No! I'm Puppeteer! And I. Want Those. Dolls NOW!!"
"Puppeteer? The dolls? I don't-don't have them. They're at home! Why...Why do you want them, Puppeteer?"
"Because, you said I could have them! Then Mommy said "no!" So give 'em to me now! Or you'll be super-duper sorry!"
Marinette gasps in realization. "Manon!"
Just then the train stops, and the doors slide open.
"I want Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir's Miraculouses, to win! Forever and EVER!" Lady Wifi creates a pink fast-forward icon before gliding away on it.
Marinette runs after Lady Wifi, "Manon! This isn't a game!"
"You go find a place to hide, I'll-" Adrien spoke up, turning around to Lily who was already running off. "Lily!"
"I'll see you at the theatre, Adrien! Something came up!" The brunette said as she turns around a dark corner, letting Tikki out of her purse. "We've got to save Manon."
"Roger that, Captain Lily!" Tikki salutes.
"Tikki, Spots on!" Lily whispered.
Adrien runs up to the train manager. "Excuse me sir, there's... um... cat loose on the train!"
"What? Thanks kiddo!" The train manager runs off.
Plagg comes out of his owner's jacket. "Cat?!"
"Plagg! We have to transform!" Adrien told him.
"Just when we'd shaken off your bodyguard." Plagg ears flattens.
"Plagg, claws out!" Adrien yelled.
"What about the movie! The buttery popcorn! Your lady?!" Plagg asks before getting sucked into the Miraculous as Adrien transforms into Cat Noir.
Marinette felt Cat Noir's hand on her shoulder and turned to see Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir.
"Hey, that was Lady Wifi. Did that villain say anything to you?" Cat Noir asked Marinette.
"Uh, I'm not sure, but her voice belonged to a little girl I babysit. It's as if she was controlling my friend, Alya- I mean, Lady Wifi, from a distance. This is so weird." Marinette said.
"And what was this talk about dolls?" Lady Scarlet questioned.
"I've got some dolls she likes to play with." Marinette replied.
"Your dolls? Okay, where do you live?" Cat Noir queried.
"12 Rue Gotlib." Marinette answered.
"We'll take care of it." Lady Scarlet assured before she and Cat Noir ran off upstairs from the subway.
'Oh no! They're going to my room!' Marinette freaked out internally. 'Hopefully they don't see the pictures of Adrien...'
The Miraculous duo was on their way to the bakery.
"I think I know what's going on." Lady Scarlet said.
"What do you mean?" Cat Noir asked.
"I think that Puppeteer might be using that Lady Wifi doll to control Lady Wifi. If she gets our dolls..." Lady Scarlet started.
"She'll use them to control us." Cat Noir finished.
"We should destroy the dolls when we get there. That way she won't be able to control us." Lady Scarlet suggested.
"Good point." Cat Noir agreed.
The duo continued on their way.
Dupain-Cheng Bakery
Lady Scarlet laughs as she landed on the roof. "You lose, kitty." She smirks as he landed on the roof with her.
"Doesn't mean I'm a rotten egg though." Cat Noir retorted.
Marinette's Room
Lady Wifi is stealing all the dolls and putting them in her bag. Once she had all of the dolls, a yo-yo was wrapped around her.
"Quick, Cat Noir!" Lady Scarlet called out.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir activated his power, and he touched the bag which disintegrated along with the dolls.
"NOOOOOO!" Lady Wifi yelled.
Lady Scarlet shrugged, "Too bad. That was your punishment for trying to steal from your babysitter."
Lady Wifi growls and starts throwing icons at Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir. The duo dodged the attacks. Then Lady Wifi throws Marinette's trunk at Lady Scarlet, who ducks under it. She looked to see that Lady Wifi was gone.
She looked around Marinette's room and gasped when she saw tons of pictures of Adrien on the girl's wall. Cat Noir stood next to her and was also surprised by the number of pictures.
'This is so weird. I wish I could tell Adrien about this. But that would mean exposing myself. Maybe he'll figure it out on his own?' Lady Scarlet thought.
'I'm DEFINITELY going to try and avoid Marinette a little bit more.' Cat Noir thought with dread.
"Well, where could Puppeteer be?" Cat Noir asked, changing the subject.
Lady Scarlet tapped her chin and then took out her yo-yo to make a call, "I have an idea." She said.
TVi Studio
Nadja is walking with Alec. Her phone rings as she picks up. "Yes? What? Lady Scarlet?!"
"Where are you?" Lady Scarlet asked.
"At the TV station." Nadja replied.
"Is your daughter with you?" Lady Scarlet inquired.
Marinette's Room
"Yes, she's playing downstairs! Why? Is everything okay, Lady Scarlet?" Nadja probed.
"Yes! Just don't move. I'll be right there!" Lady Scarlet then hung up.
Suddenly, Cat Noir's Miraculous began beeping.
"You better recharge before we head to face Puppeteer." Lady Scarlet suggested.
"Good point." Cat Noir agreed and spotted the screen in Marinette's room, "Be right back."
Cat Noir went behind the screen while Lady Scarlet looked away.
Cat Noir destransformed back into Adrien. He gave a slice of Camembert to Plagg. Plagg seemed to be staring at his cheese. He looked up to see Adrien who had an impatient expression.
"Ugh, why can I savor my cheese?" Plagg whined.
"Would you mind savoring it a little faster?" Adrien demanded.
Plagg quickly devoured the cheese.
"Plagg, Claws Out!" Adrien called out.
Adrien soon transformed into Cat Noir. He stepped out behind the screen.
"Ready!" Cat Noir called.
Lady Scarlet nodded, "Good, let's go."
The two quickly left Marinette's room as they headed to the studio.
TVi Studio Lobby
Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir check the camera before an angle shows The Puppeteer and Lady Wifi.
"She's still here in the building. I need you all outside." Lady Scarlet told Alec, Nadja, and the receptionist.
"No! I want to find my daughter!" Nadja goes to run off, but Lady Scarlet grabs her arm.
"I'll bring your daughter back, Mrs. Chamack. It'll help me more to know you're safe." Lady Scarlet assured her.
Nadja is hesitant, but nods.
Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir put their ears to the studio's doors.
"On three," Lady Scarlet backed away with Cat Noir. "One... two... three!" She bursts through the doors with her partner.
"Lady Wifi, attack!" Puppeteer ordered, pointing her wand at the duo.
Lady Wifi began throwing icons towards the duo again.
"Cat Noir, distract Lady Wifi! I'll handle Puppeteer." Lady Scarlet ordered.
"Got it!" Cat Noir nodded and headed towards Lady Wifi as she continued to throw icons at him.
Puppeteer tried to focus on the two heroes but when she glanced at Cat Noir, but then a yo-yo was wrapped her wand and yanked from her hand. The wand landed into Lady Scarlet's hand.
Puppeteer gasped, "No!"
Lady Scarlet broke the wand, releasing the Akuma.
"Oh no you don't you filthy Akuma!" Lady Scarlet opens her yo-yo and catches the Akuma with her yo-yo. "Gotcha!" She releases the purified Akuma. "So long, butterfly."
"Lucky Charm!" Lady Scarlet summoned her Lucky Charm which revealed to be a power strip, "A power strip?" She shrugged and threw the object in the air, "Miraculous Scarlet!"
The Miraculous ladybugs restore everything back to normal and revert Lady Wifi back to Alya and Puppeteer back into Manon.
"Huh?" Manon asked, confused.
"How did I get here?" Alya questioned, confused.
"Pound it!" The heroes fist-bumped.
Lady Scarlet opened her yo-yo again and took out two magical charms. One was painted black with vivid magenta spots that each have a white outline with vertical lines which she gave to Alya. The second one was painted icy-blue with white spots that each have a black outline with vertical lines which she gave to Manon.
"Wow! Pretty!" Manon beamed when she held her charm.
"I like mine." Alya smiled.
"These should protect you from future Akuma attacks." Lady Scarlet stated.
"Thanks, Lady Scarlet." Manon and Alya thanked her.
Just then Nadja runs over with Alec and sees her daughter. "Manon!"
The little girl, excited to see her mother, jumped into her arms and hugged her.
"No problem." Lady Scarlet nods. She then gasps. 'The movie with Adrien!' She chuckled nervously. "Um, I have to go. See ya kitty!" She waved at Cat Noir before running off.
Cat Noir gasps at well. 'The movie with Lily!' He ran away in the opposite direction.
Hawk Moth's Lair
"No!" Hawk Moth growled, "This cannot be happening!"
The windows closes as Hawk Moth growled in frustration.
Theatre
"Tikki, Trixx, do you think I should tell Adrien about the photos I saw in Marinette's room? It's kinda weird that she has them all over her room." Lily says to her two Kwamis, who are in her purse.
"The decision is completely up to you, Lily. Although the photos in Marinette's room are pretty disturbing." Tikki voice her opinion.
"Fans are getting weirder and weirder nowadays." Trixx added.
"Agreed." Lily and Tikki agreed.
"Lily!"
Tikki and Trixx poke their heads back in Lily's purse while the brunette watches Adrien running towards her.
He pants for breath when he was up close. "Sorry if I kept you waiting."
"You're fine," Lily grabbed Adrien's hand, causing him to blush. "Let's go in."
The pair then went in.
Lily stared at the screen anxiously as Zach is pushing the shopping cart with Stine in it as they ran away from a werewolf in the supermarket on-screen.
"No, no, no, keep going!" Stine ordered in a panic tone as Zack pushed the cart with the werewolf behind them.
The brunette reflexively grabbed Adrien's hand and hid her face in his shoulder while the werewolf was chasing the group. Then she heard a car banging into something.
Adrien stroked Lily's hair to calm her down. "It's okay now, the scene's over."
Lily peeked out from Adrien's shoulder to see the group was saved by Zack's aunt before she shifted, now leaning her head on his shoulder as she blushed.
'He smells so good...' Lily thought.
Lily gripped Adrien's hand and continued to lean on his shoulder for the rest of the movie. Unknown to her, Adrien was also blushing. But he didn't mind it, he was enjoying it. So they both continued to watch the rest of the film.
Outside of the theater
"That movie was awesome!" Adrien smiles as he walked out with Lily.
"I know right? I thought I'd be scared for the rest of it, but it actually was pretty fun to watch. Especially when Hannah came back at the end." Lily says.
Just then Adrien's car showed up.
"Gotta go, it was nice spending time with you." Adrien told Lily.
The hazel green-eyed girl kissed his cheek. "It was nice spending time with you too."
Adrien blushed at her kiss. Then he unexpectedly kissed her cheek. At that moment, Marinette and Alya were coming out of the theater. Marinette gasped in horror when she came across the scene.
"See you tomorrow." Adrien waved at her before going to his car.
"Yeah...tomorrow." Lily said, blushing.
Then her dad's car came up. Lily got inside and the car drove off.
Alya turned to Marinette who was still had a look of horror on her face with her jaw dropped. Alya poked her cheek to try and bring her back to reality. Marinette quickly shook her head, breaking her out of her trance.
"Why Alya? Why does Adrien like spending time with Lily?" Marinette whined.
"Well, Lily is one of his childhood friends. Perhaps that's why he likes spending time with her." Alya guessed.
"But what if he starts falling for Lily?!" Marinette exclaimed in panic.
Alya was speechless for a moment. She didn't want to hurt her friend's feelings, but she knows that she needs to tell the truth. However, she doesn't want her to become Akumatized because of the truth. She had noticed how Adrien and Lily had becoming closer and closer. That made her scared if her friend's heart got broken.
"I don't know, Marinette." Alya lied.
"Then I just have to try even harder to get Adrien's attention!" Marinette declared with her clenched fists in front of her.
'This isn't going to turn out good.' Alya thought with worry.
