The day started off so cold, my mind spinning so slow.

I need someone to hold.

My heart is broken, and my throat is choaking.

There's no sense in smoking.

The feelings keep coming back.

Work to collect the green now you're laying beside an embolmbing machine,

I need to hear your voice once again.

But alas, this chapter has lapsed.

Is it time that I moved on?

I'm not sure where to go, I lost the road.

I just know that the day started off cold.

Now I'm all alone.

I need someone to hold.

My heart is about to unfold and explode.

Gental spirit, keep my mind under control.

Speak to me with a tender tone.

Put my heart at rest, lay my head on your chest.
